Bumping up goal to 25 books...

This will be another reading challenge in addition to my Indie Challenge of 25 books. For this one, I think I'll start with 15 and see if I can make it. I won't be counting any of these towards my indie challenge or vice versa. If I can pull it off, I think I'll do something similar next year. It'd be fun. So let's get started.

If anyone has thought of reading these, but hasn't picked them up yet, I highly recommend them. Great series.

Great book. If anyone hasn't noticed yet, I might be a fan of Sullivan ;)

Thanks :) Next year, I'll have to set some challenging goals. I fear I've underestimated myself.

message 8: by Amber (new)

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) No problem. I've read up to 30 in my 1 book or more a week until the end of the year challenge thus far.

Nice!

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) Yep. Hey do you need any reccomendations for your next indie read? Just curious. I have read two by Mike Patton which were pretty good and they are Drive-in Movie Massacre which was two horror stories set in the 1950's and The Horror Movie Society. You can find them both on amazon and they are pretty good.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm kinda horrored out from my Dean Koontz phase, and I've got a massive backlog on both here and Amazon for indie books. I'll keep these in mind, though. Thanks :)

message 12: by Amber (new)

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) No problem. Drive in Massacre is only 21 pages and Horror Movie Society is only 90 pages so they are both pretty short.

Overbooked ✎ (kiwi_fruit) | 800 comments Nice reviews L.K. I haven't read anything from Sullivan but Theft of Swords is on my tbr, would this be a good book to start from?

message 17: by L.K. (new)

L.K. Evans Yes! Amazing books, in my opinion, and Theft of Swords is definitely where I recommend starting. Sullivan is a great author and very approachable. The Revelations series is one of my all time favorites.

And I'm glad you like my reviews :)

Camille (camillesbookishadventures) The Ocean at the End of the Lane has been on my TBR for a while. I found a copy two days ago at the second-hand bookstore, so will hopefully be reading it soon! I haven't read your review yet, as I don't like reading reviews before reading books (I'm afraid I'll be influenced!!) but I'll see what you thought of it once I've read it.

I won't say anything to spoil it :) I'd love to know what you think of it when you're done. I will say that's it's short, just over 200 pages. I usually fit those smaller ones in between my larger reads. Good luck!
