Yael Shahar | 44 comments Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me set all the covers of this book to the actual one, rather than the pre-release cover. I understand that Goodreads keeps all covers, in case someone has a copy of the book with a different cover. However, the ones that I put up at first (and which are now appearing as the default thumbnail) was actually a design study for the book before our actual cover was done. It was never used on an actual published book.

The correct cover (the one that was actually used when the book was published) can be found here: http://www.amazon.com/Damaged-Mirror-... and also is already on the book that we have set as the default edition.

However, despite setting the one with the real cover as the default, the pre-release one still shows up as the thumbnail on our current Giveaway https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...

Is there any way to simply get rid of the pre-release covers altogether so that only the one that was used on the actual book appears?

Thanks!

Librarians have no control over giveaways. If you are unable to edit it yourself, you'll need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.

Your initial requests referred to an older cover and a newer one, which is also what the relevant dates the original covers were uploaded (mere days before the pub date) imply. If that is not accurate, please take that up with support as well.

Yael Shahar | 44 comments Thanks Rivka! I'll check with the support folks to see if anything can be done. The design study cover isn't that bad, but it simply isn't affiliated with the book as published and shouldn't really qualify as a separate edition of the book.

I wonder if it might not be a good idea to put up a notice somewhere when one adds a book that tells the author not to add a cover unless it's the final version, as they can never be removed if the wrong file is uploaded. Well, live and learn!

Thank you so much for the quick response!

-Yael
