We're not quite in April, but I'm too impatient to wait! The challenges start now.

*April showers bring May flowers... Read a book with "rain" in the title
*It's National Poetry month. Switch it up from prose to poems!
*Read a book with flowers on the cover
*Seek out a member with an April birthday and read a book off one of their shelves
*Re-read an old favorite!
*April Fool's day...pick a book with jokes, humor, tricks, cons, or general foolishness.

Cookie (bookcupidity) I'm game!

I'll be reading Splintered Splintered (Splintered, #1) by A.G. Howard
For the lovely little red lily on the cover. :)

And I rarely dive into poetry but I'll take that challenge too.
Overdrive has Beowulf and The Iliad...but, ummm, I'm going to go with Amazing Peace A Christmas Poem by Maya Angelou by Maya Angelou. It's a Christmas Poem, but you know, it's a poetry!

Abigail | 32 comments With rain in the title? Gee, I will have to look hard for that. I have picked up finishing a couple books now that the big challenge is over. Last Kiss by Luann Rice, and Moon Shell Beach by Nancy Theyer (something like that.) I want to escape into those summery places for a while.

Never heard of it. But I will see what it is about. I have to like a book to read it.

Abigail | 32 comments As for flowers and mystery, lose yourself in Flirting with Pete. I LOVED this one.

Flirting with Pete by Barbara Delinsky

Bdmink | 41 comments Just finished "Barefoot in the Rain" by Roxanne St. Clair which takes care of a book with rain in the title.

I think I will also re-read a favorite that has a flower in the title. Can't remember if there is an actual flower on the cover. A Rose in Winter by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss.

I have one day left and I don't think I am going to get my book read for the "it has a flower" or "re-read a favorite". Maybe tonight?
