The Returned VS Ressurection

I am eager to see what differences come up in the TV series. They seemed to start right off the back with the premise that Jacob was the first. In the book there were many others before him. Also a important fact, his death was changed. Even the name change seems to make it a more religious theme. Ressurection. I notice many people on the tv site boards are thinking it will be a religious movie (or aliens) Curious to see how much more of the storyline will be changed. I was also looking forward to the murdered family's portrayal. Wonder if it will be included.
I was a bit disappointed in the changes, but the show is actually pretty entertaining. When they changed Under the Dome (King) I was beyond disappointed in not only the way they took the storyline, but how terrible the acting was. I think they are only going to stray further from the book in the end, so we'll just have to see.
