Book Haven discussion

Where did we leave the gang? Fighting zombies? Cat's mom dating a ghoul? Wasn't that the end of At Grave's End? What are we looking forward to or expecting to happen in Book #4? What were the unresolved issues?

It would be good to re-read the last 2 chapters and get a refresher. I am planning to buy the book within days of its release.

Well this is where Cat meets Gregor, right? What I want to know is how is he supposedly linked to her past?

Oh, and Tate. Wasn't he being shipped off somewhere? I guess instead of the love trio being Bones, Cat, and Tate.. it'll be Bones, cat, and GREGOR! I want to know what happens with Tate's relationship with Cat.

Hmm, I guess it would be nice to know what the hell is going on with Cat's mother Justina. Is she and the ghoul really together? I cant remember his name.

With the way the series progresses and the spin-off series there will definitely be some developments that aren't expected. I LOVE the love triangle =D.

Crap! I wished I hadn't read this post now. I am close to finishing the first book and haven't read about the love triangle yet.

Wasn't the ghoul named Rodney?

All I know is, Tate needs a love interest soon, and bad!

And I hope the "Night Huntress World" spin-off series goes into more details about Mencheres and that Spade gets his own book because I love this character.

I think all the 'minor' character will get a chance to have a major role in a Drop of Crimson. If J. Frost is taking time to write a book that's not really a new series but just a sort of spin-off then we will see new delvopements that can be fleshed out more. Then in NH book #5 there won't have to be tons of time spent explaining each and every detail. You know? Plus yeah. I want to know more about Spade. He needs his story told.

Spade seems so gorgeous. I cant wait to read more about him.

"Destined for an Early Grave" was GREAT! I can't wait for "First Drop of Crimson" coming out Jan 26th, 2010 because I love Spade and looks like it's going to feature Cat's best friend Denise as his love interest.

Im starting on it RIGHT at this very moment... well, as soon as I get off this computer and get comfy. I can't wait!

I FINISHED IT, I FINISHED IT!! OMG, I just need to talk to someone about it. Destined For An Early Grave was fricken SUPERB and.. irritating at times. You don't even know how many times I screamed out loud and threw my book. LOL.

I wasn't crazy about it, it was the least favorite of the serie for me.

Girrrl I'm there with ya! I got so mad at both of them so many times and wanted to shout in utter frustration and chunk my book across the room! But it all worked out and I can't wait for what's next! I wanted a wedding though dammit! LOL!

Shawna, I know what you mean. I really did think that maybe this time we would hear wedding bells. Instead we got stuck with Gregor insisting Cat was his wife. Oh and the real shocker, my oh my Cat! She's STILL a freak! I too look forward to reading the next one. I can't even imagine what's going to happen next.
