Fern: I'm hungry! Should we stop?
Moon: Yeah! I'm hungry too!
Stone: I'll hunt! Who will come?
In unison: Us!
Star: Okay! We'll all go!
Meadow: Wait- Shouldn't someone stay and guard?
Stripy: Yeah! That's a good idea! Who will stay?
Juniper: I'll stay! The kits are tired anyway!
As the hunting patrol sets off, Juniper-stripe looks around the camp.
Frozen: Can we come?
Juniper: No, it could be dangerous. Play in those leaves or something. This is very important.
Juniper-stripe walked around the camping area. She peered into a bramble thicket and walked inside it.
Juniper: Kits! Come here!
Bright: What is it‽
Juniper: I found a den for us! Tonight we sleep here! Go inside and sleep while I search some more.
As she walked around, she found some spaces where the others could sleep. * Meanwhile, out hunting. *
Stone: We'll split up into small groups! That will be easier.
Misty: I'll go with Hawk-thorn and Meadow-fire!
Stripy-pelt was stuck on his own this time. Though it was dangerous, he didn't mind. "Where will I hunt?" He thought out loud. Walking off to the right, he sniffed for prey.
Hawk: We're hunting well! Let's go back to the camp!
Misty: You're just eager to see Juniper-stripe!
Hawk: Well that's... Very true.
Meadow: Here's an idea! Stripy is hunting alone! How 'bout I go find him and make sure he's okay‽
Misty: That's a great idea! See you soon!
Setting off, she followed their scent trail. Seeing she had reached camp, she walked over.
Meadow: Hey! How are the kits‽
Juniper: Oh! They are fine! What are you doing?
Meadow: Just checking on you, while looking for Stripy.
Juniper: Oh! Best be on you're way then!
Meadow: Um... Yeah...
What was that all about? She thought. Then she found the scent trail of Stripy. After a few minutes, it got stronger.
Stripy: Hello! Come to find me‽
Meadow: Yes... How did you know?
Stripy: I'm alone in unfamiliar woods! What do you think?
Meadow & Stripy: What's that smell?
Meadow, sniffing around: Smells... Like... Bad... Bad... Badg....
Stripy: (Whispering) Badger!

Stripypelt ran off, with Meadow trailing after him. When they finally found the makeshift camp, Juniper-stripe was cowering in the den with her kits.
Juniper: A- A- Are they gone?
Meadow: What? What are you talking about?
Juniper: The badgers! They were everywhere!
She burrowed deeper into the leaf mulch, still very scared.
Meadow: Badgers... Plural... Heh heh heh...
Meanwhile, Stripy was scared as ever, now hiding in the den with Juniper-stripe.
Meadow: Okay... I have a plan... So listen, and stop acting like kits.
Bright & Frozen(The kits): But we're scared!
Meadow: That's fine. You are kits. Now here. We, as quickly and quietly as possible, follow the scent trail of one of the patrols. Then, we run to the next patrol...
As Meadowfire explained, Misty and Hawk appeared.
M/H: Hello! What's the matter?
Meadow: Shaddap! Badgers!
M/H: Huh?
Stripy explained to them how the badgers were running around, and the cats did not know where they were.
Juniper-stripe thought to herself. 'How will we avoid them? What will happen to the kits?' She was overwhelmed already.
