I always liked reading but I have never read more than short stories till my early teens. This is the first novel I ever read and HP is the one that got me interested in reading novels. I grew up with Harry potter and feel the characters are a part of my life rather than just a book. No other fiction I read isn't even close to Rowling's creation. Maybe I am biased but this isn't just another book to me, it has always been more or less a part of my life itself.
I read the series in 2nd grade and I fell in love with it. I grew up watching the movies and reading the books. It was the first "big" book I ever read. Usually for me, it was just Magic Tree House. So this is my favorite series ever, and nothing can ever come close to it.
I've seen all the movies. Loved them to bits. I read all the books except the last one. I have it but I'm avoiding it like the plague. Lol. I heard it was more heartbreaking than the movie was. And if that's true then I'm going to be in bed for the rest of the year if I finish it. Lol.
Yeah, it was heartbreaking, but it was a work of art. That book was full of so many mind-blowing moments and plot twists, that the movie didn't even come close. Read it.

Yeah I just added it to my TBR shelf. I guess I can't keep avoiding it. Lol. I'm preparing a depression emergency box for the occasion.

I am actually retreading them right now. First the first one. The first time I read them my mom and I read them out loud to each other, which was a lot of fun:)
