I'm in.My theme: Food (with or without a side of murder)
Three books.
Apple Pie Perfect: 100 Delicious and Decidedly Different Recipes for America's Favorite Pie
by Ken Haedrich
Thanksgiving 101: Celebrate America's Favorite Holiday with America's Thanksgiving Expert
by Rick Rodgers (Goodreads Author)
and
Sugar Cookie Murder (Hannah Swensen #6)
by Joanne Fluke (Goodreads Author)*
*This is the book with a side of murder
Lol that's great Amber :P I'll add y'all both to the top post either tonight or tomorrow, depending on when I finish homework.
OK.I have to wait for Thanksgiving 101 to arrive but I own a copy of Sugar Cookie Murder and my library had a copy of Apple Pie Perfect.
Ok I've decided only to do 2 books this month and hopefully I can do it!! 1984 is back on the list and this month we will succeed, right Sydney??! LOL And The Accidental Tourist by Anne Tyler :)
Oh okay Amber! Monday then :)
Hello Aaron! Yes! Well, I'll be attending the party, not hosting it. :) Would you like to join the book pool?

Note: Sign-up deadline has been extended to Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Amber and Jessica, you may now begin reading! I totally forgot to send out the group message though and remind everyone, so I thought I'd extend the deadline a little. :)

Also, I finally added my books! I added Never Fade [The Darkest Minds, #2], The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, and I Am the Messenger. :)
Progress Report (as of 11/1/15):APPLE PIE PERFECT: Finished 10/31
SUGAR COOKIE MURDER: page 183
THANKSGIVING 101: page 72
Haha well so far I'm still waiting on all of the books I requested from the library, but I'll jump in ASAP!
Glad to hear you finished the first book! Heading to the library to pick up my books today (finally!!)
Lol nice job! I picked up four books today, so as soon as I finish Gone I'll get started! If you could please try in the future though to wait to finish (if not start!) books from the pool until the first of the month, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise it rather defeats the point of keeping points in friendly competition :P
Are we going to have a December book pool?I'm asking because I think I'm the only one who has posted on this topic since the 7th... .
We will - I'll post it tomorrow, hopefully. Sorry for disappearing. It's been a long month.
On the upside, I read The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight last week and really enjoyed it! Although highly improbable, it was a cute story. I'll probably buy it :)
I started The Messenger this morning, but there was enough language in the first chapter that I'm already on the brink of not finishing it. :/

I just started reading again sorry for being MIA this month. I had my little girl on nov 10th :) I'm such a happy mama but I will get right back into 1984 and really really try to finish it by the end of the month!
Awww congratulations!!! A friend of mine told me she was pregnant last week and it made me think of you. :) STILL haven't started 1984.. Actually I spent the first half of the month trying to finish Gone from last month (which I still haven't finished btw :|)
PMSL! Didn't I tell you last month, Sydney, that GONE WITH THE WIND wasn't worth it? At least not in my opinion.
Actually I was talking about Gone by Michael Grant, which I'm enjoying. It's just long. I actually didn't have a chance to read Gone With the Wind before it was due back to the library.
