It kills me how all these companies try to sound like they're doing you some grand favor by having your book available on KINDLE, when we can now do it ourselves. Once upon a time, not so much, but Amazon finally figured out, financially, working directly with Indie authors was very lucrative. Your friend can determine if he wants 35% royalties or 70%. Send him the link; let him read up on it. I'm quite the boob when it comes to computer stuff--and even I was able to format myself. If he needs help, holler. I can direct you to a few blogs that give insight to formatting.

Wondering if anyone has any experience of working with them? Any joy stories? Horror stories? Are they legit?
Just want to be able to answer his questions: "Do they say the same to everyone? Or are they just after my money?"
