Reads With Friends discussion

This story is weird to me. I like it but I'm not impressed yet.

I finished the audiobook over the weekend. You have to admire Holly Black's creativity and her attempt to write a new fairy tale that mixes with modern day. Still it is kind of bizarre.

I agree Shannon I like it but not impressed. But I do like the prose. I have a feeling after this Holly Black and I may break up. We've tried twice and while second time is definitely better then the first I'm still not impressed. #authorreaderbreakup

I don't think I've ever read anything Holly Black. So this is a first impression. I do own her middle grade book with Cassie CLaire, The Iron Trial. It's not bad but I'm just bored and don't really care. Will probably power through and finish the audiobook tonight so I can read other stuff TBH
