Yes, as this group is public, anyone can see what you post in this group. Regarding the hiatus notification, that is fine. I totally get where you are coming from!

I will be on holiday from tomorrow until the beginning of February due to Christmas and going away. I will not have access to a computer during this time, so bye! Ask Sarah if you need anything.

Going on holiday for a couple weeks.

As you will probably know from the group message, I will be going on a very long hiatus in a couple weeks due to school stuff etc, and as a result I no longer have time for much social media. Just letting everyone know also that they can apply to become the new moderator to replace me! Just post and answer all the questions in the discussion I have set up.
