Hey bookdragons!
To connect a bit better, we thought it would be nice if we could all introduce ourselves and share our instagrampages and/ or (book)blogs! This way you can promote your personal pages a bit (only rule is, that your page is legal and doesn't host inappropiate content.)

If you want to share another bookclub, you can do that as well, as long as you don't bash our bookclub along the way. Of course we would love you to be happy enough with our bookclub, but bookclubs are also about connecting, about putting in pride and effort and it should be acknowledged and rewarded. We will however check for inappropiate content and if we see a need for it, delete sites that aren't meeting the stated criteria. I hope you understand! ❤️

My name is Fatima and I'm from Saudi Arabia. I'll turn 18 this December. My obsession for books started back in 2012 when I first read that Taylor Swift was featured in the soundtrack of The Hunger Games and soon after I decided to read the trilogy, which was followed by an endless trail of TBRs :p
Oh and the second fact you might not have concluded already is that I basically love Taylor Swift. And giraffes. And the latest book I've added to my favorites shelf was Stolen by Lucy Christopher.

I like to try every genre of books but my least read genres are non-fiction and classics.

hello! my name is adam! (and if you can't tell, i hate uppercase letters!) i am nineteen years old and live in richmond, virginia. i attend vcuarts (the number one public arts school in the us) and i study photography and film, but i also like reading.

what i like to create involves creating my own worlds and stories, but in a visual form instead of through the written word. reading has gotten me out of my comfort zone and has taught me so much about the world i live in (as well as worlds that don't exist). i am able to visualize these scenes which inspire me to think of new things and encourage me to create for myself and others. this may not be able to shine through on my account, but i truly value originality, but to create something original you have to borrow from someone else.

i love to be a part of a community that will always be there to back me up with whatever i do. i have now been a part of the community for a year and don't regret a single minute of it. i love and care about everyone and this group, i can't wait to see where it goes because "we are on a rollercoaster that only goes up."

I'm 23 years old and just finished my BA in English and am proceeding with a year course in Norwegian studies and then hopefully a year where I learn to become a teacher. I also work in a small bookstore where I live and have worked there for almost 5 years.

I started out reading only YA dystopia books but managed to squeeze in some fantasy and got hooked. I have also been able to crawl out of my comfort zone this year and can read alot of other genres besides the typical YA books ;P

I work as an accountant (I know, taxes and numbers, and pretty much boring stuff) in a family business. When I was little I loved to read but during my early twenties I just stopped, Uni and work absorbed all my time. Then Twilight happened and I was hooked again. So, now I spend all my time trying to read all the books I have missed and all the new ones that are coming. As you can imagine I have a long TBR.

Fact: If the book was written in english I buy the book in english (there is always something lost in translation). What language do you prefer to read (if your native language is not english)?

Also, most of my books are e-books. And I think I don't own any hardcovers.

OHH a fellow 'german' member! And if you recall maybe, my nickname is granny as well. Among the bookdragon mods I'm the oldest with now 27 years and called 'granny' :'D I think in reading, age really doesn't matter. I'm virtual friends here with people ranging from age 40 to age 14 :D So no worries there for being a 'granny' you'd be welcome even if you were 100 years old, as long as you enjoy reading with us! :-)

(And I see no problems with that, seeing you like the exact same genres as me and the bookclub >.

If you're looking for more inspiration, you might want to check out the bookcommunity on Instagram 'bookstagram'. It's become quite huge and I basically get all my inspiration from there! :) Just a suggestion! :)

I seriously thought I had done this already, but apparently not.

I'm Tatiana, from @lavidaenquotes. I studied Economics for my BA and now I'm doing my Masters in Institutions and Economics. I know, it doesn't sound bookish or creative or artsy at all, which is why I don't have a blog and my pictures are, at best, ok. Still, I love to read and I'm so glad I found the bookstagram community that also lead me to a few book clubs, like this one. The thing is, my friends aren't that much into reading, so I never really had someone to tall about what I've read/am reading/want to read, and having this opportunity now makes me all kinds of happy.

Other than that, I'm originally from Colombia but been living in Germany for the past 7 years. I speak Spanish, German, English and Italian and try to read in all of those languages, although English wins by far. Oh, and I'm days away from officially turning 26, although people may tell you I sometimes act a bit younger than that. Say, 8.

Hey guys! I'm Audra from midwest USA (think lots of cornfields). I am currently studying marketing & management at my university and my goal is to work in publishing and editing. I started a book blog this summer (bookishendeavor.wordpress.com), but unfortunately I haven't been able to give it much attention because of classes.

Scifi/ Fantasy and Contemporary are my favorite genres, but recently I've gotten into Thrillers because of Night Film for this book club! Still debatable on whether that is actually a thriller though... My favorite book is Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss so if you haven't read it before, I definitely recommend it :)
