What are your first impressions of this book?

I love this book. It's like King's homage to Of Mice and Men but with his creepy twist. He writes damaged people so well.

Just finished the intro - King is very apologetic! He is worried we may think what he started back in the 70s under his pseudonym is not quite as good as the books he is famous for.

I think he shouldn't have worried! I found it sweet and a bit heartbreaking, but never poorly written.

i am really enjoying "Blaze". A nice change of pace from the fiction that I have been reading of late. Thanks, Matthew!

I couldn't put it down. I found it very easy to read as in I didn't have to focus too hard to keep teack of what was happening

I have to agree with what others are saying - this book is good right off the bat!

It's just a simply told, sad tale that you can race through. It's heartbreaking because it rings so true as far as how people are treated, even today, when they aren't exactly "right in the head", and don't have money.
