I read this book earlier this year and while I enjoyed it, it wasn't for the main plot as much as for the many side characters and the overall athmosphere that Wecker crafted. Looking forward to your thoughts!
Have some reading for my Book Clubs. Will be awhile till I finish it. Finally finished the book. It was enjoyable.
I really enjoyed the historical aspects. The portrayals of the different communities in 1900 NY were very rich. It was the first time I've read about a female Golem (view spoiler). It seemed to start a little bit slow but I really became engaged when Rabbi Meyer entered the story(view spoiler). Very glad I read it!
