Here is my review of Blaze

I haven't heard anything lately on any of the Blaze feeds - I figure some must be getting close to the end and I wanted to see what you think! :)

4.5.......Why am I not giving this 5 stars? I'm not entirely sure. While I thought it was a really good book and an easy read I don't know that I would run out and tell everyone to read it.

I don't normally go into plot lines when going into a review because there's enough reviews out there that will do that. I just give my views and opinions. Overall I did think this was a really good book in that the storyline was easy to follow and I was completely engaged in the plot. I have never read Bachman before and it's been so long since I've read King that I can't really compare the two, but his description of the main character, Blaze, is enough that you end up kind of caring about him. Okay yes, he kidnapped a baby......but his gentleness and love that he showed with him made you see the good in him. Sadly Blaze was robbed of much of that goodness with his upbringing. Bachman was able to balance the two sides of this character enough that you sympathized with the bad guy.

I definitely enjoyed this book.

I am glad you liked it to. Yeah, I am not sure I would recommend it to everyone, but there are some I would recommend it to very strongly!
