Reads With Friends discussion

I finished this last night but was too tired to update. I'm not blown away by the story yet. I don't feel like the world is built well enough on it's own, with drawing conclusions from the HP parallels. I think it worked okay in Fangirl, but having a whole book that is inspired by another series (though it is different), is winning me over at this point. I will keep reading though, as I do have the audiobook as well. Let me know how you guys are enjoying it!

The story finally kicked into gear in this section. I know that Rainbow is big on characters and not so much plot, but there hadn't been happening much at all. Though I did really enjoy the characters and shaping the world. These pople are after all going into their 8th year and have quite a bit of history.

I will admit to slumping through this one. I'm not sure if I'm in a slump or just bored with the book. I think the idea was cute but not delivered well. I still plan on finishing this book though.

I just finished this section (better late than never right lol) I'm not sure what to think at this point. I definitely feel like it has major potential and it's starting to pick up but ehhh we shall see.

Okay I just finished this and I know I am way behind, but I feel like I'm liking this more than how the rest of you are feeling! I'm really getting into it. I really really need to know more about where Baz is and why he's not at Watford. Otherwise I do agree with there not being much of a plot thus far. Also the ghost situation was really weird.
