So far I've only found this one: Pynchon's Against the Day: A Corrupted Pilgrim's Guide

I have not read it however... but if anyone's interested, enjoy!

Rebecca Whoa! I was interested in Renato's "Pilgrim's Guide" suggestion, too, so I trotted-out to Amazon and found that even the Kindle version was priced at $62.49. Any idea what gives here?

Wow!! That's crazy!

Dave (adh3) | 26 comments I suspect that kind of price means it is a textbook. It may be good, but textbook prices (new or recent) are always a rip off. The wiki Renato mentioned suits my needs.

Rebecca I'm all set to start on the first of the year, 2016 - right around the corner! I've got all 12 novels (gently-used Little, Brown hardback set in 4 volumes) and Hilary Spurling's "Invitation to the Dance" handbook. Can't wait!

However, I'm SO pleased that there's a reading group formed around this novel set, as the more I read in the discussions so far the more I'm prepared to be benumbed and bewildered on a more-than-usual basis and hope to get perspective and insight from other group readers as I go.

I'm glad you'll be reading Dance with us, Rebecca, but this is Against the Day's group :-P

Rebecca Oh, dear! :( That's what I get for trying to keep too many thoughts going at the same time that I'm REALLY distracted by what I'm currently doing.
