Crackback discussion

In the book Crackback, lets focus on dialogue. More specifically, i want to talk about how the character talks and and what the characters say. In the part where they find out Jades dad is giving kids steroids, that was revealed by dialogue and in that scene, the tone in which they said it was very creepy and ominous. what do you think are also good signs of tone and something they're saying influences the plot?

in response i think another scene with good mood is when Jade and main character are in the school and Rocky is chasing the Jade the mood is intense and exelerating.
