December will be crazy for me. 3 kids finish their school year, I'm moving internationally from Argentina back to the USA, and then Christmas! I'll vote for Outlander so I can still join in discussions, as I just read it a month ago! But I. Understand if the group picks something new, I might just have to sit out a month while I'm busy with life.
Cripes! That's quite the move!! Are you military? I'm leaning toward Outlander as well, but open to suggestions. 'A Christmas Carol' is on my reading list, it's short and holiday-themed if anyone wants to do that.
I'm interested in seeing your list of classics! I love to mix them into my reading. I just finished the American Classic "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". My favorite is an English Classic "Watership Down."
I'm interested in a list of classics, I feel a duty to read them. They're classics for a reason, right? I've always had Charles Dickens on my "to-read" list (: I would be okay with Outlander as well, but since I already have Ender's Game under my belt (and was quite disappointed), I'd vote for anything but that.
I haven't read a Christmas Carol since high school and would enjoy reading that to my kids as well. I'm game for that one! No, Team Fragale isn't a military family. My husband speaks five languages and Latin American Media and advertising is his specialty. Argentina office needed his help, so here we are. New promotion sends us back to Miami the hub of Latin America.
I have read both Outlander and Enders Game. I haven't read A Christmas Carol though so I would vote for that too!

Okay, I'm thinking Christmas Carol. I am in just such a holiday mood. Now to choose the next bearer of the conch...
I'll vote for "Christmas Carol"! I've read it every year I could since I was 10, anyhow. It's a must for anyone who hasn't read it, yet!
Hi Jennifer! And welcome! The new book starts on December 8th. And the conch will be passed to a new person to choose January's book.

So far I've narrowed it down to either Outlander, Ender's Game or a classic from my list of 100 books I'm working my way through. Not sure which one, there's a bunch. What do we feel like? If the mood is 'classic' I have 20 I can list for you.
