For May 2014 the theme is #6 Western

Rules:
1. Nominations are open until the 14th of the month. Rachel will let us know which book has "won" on the 15th.
2. Books must be Christian fiction, or "clean" fiction to be eligible for this read.
3. Books are chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
4. One nomination per person. If two people nominate the same book, each person's vote counts. So the book will feature twice in the list to give each vote an equal chance.
5. Only nominate books that are first in a series unless we have read the previous book in the series. Here is a list of the books we have read: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Nominations so far:
1. Doctor in Petticoats by Mary Connealy (Diane U)
2. Out of Control by Mary Connealy (Natalie)
3. Ruby by Lauraine Snelling (Melissa)
4. Love Comes Softly by Janette Oke (Brittany)
5. The Bride Bargain by Kelly Eileen Hake (Rachel)
6. A Texan's Promise by Shelley Gray ( Barbara Ann)

Does Love Comes Softly by Janette Oke count? It's more prairie, but it's kinda western, too. I dunno...

Natalie (creativecountry0407gmailcom) | 1132 comments @Brittany: Love Comes Softly should work fine.

Kate (liahonagirl) I just had a dream about this book (well, that I was reading it), so I'm going to take it as a 'sign' that I need to nominate Sixty Acres and a Bride by Regina Jennings.

message 16: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) According to Random.org, next month's read will be...

#7 Sixty Acres and a Bride by Regina Jennings!

Thanks for nominating, Kate! I read this one when it first came out and I really enjoyed it :)
