Hassan I realize that in this great day and age with this modern tech and tight schedules listening to a book is a lot better than reading one, But having he nostalgic feel of it is so much better in my opinion. What do you think?

Sacha (supersonicsacha) To me, nothing can beat holding a real book in my hands and physically turning the pages.

Ihasgeekpower | 1 comments I love the feel of a book in my hands! When I sit and read on a tablet I don't get the same feeling I desire.

Théo (theletterfifteen) I think reading a physical book is a very different experience than an audiobook. Both have their place, but I generally prefer reading to listening.

Though I've been listening to The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet, which is really great since it'a read by the actress who played Lizzie in the series.

Elsa (elsams) Definitely would choose a physical book over an audio book any day! Although audio books are great for road trips, running, and other times when you don't have the choice to have a book in your hands, nothing can beat an actual book. :) Especially old book. Dont know why, but old books are just...

Audrey (audreybooklover) I much prefer physical books over audio or ebook. I love having the books on my shelves.

I like physical books and ebooks as well but every time I tried to listen to an audiobook I couldn't focus on the story and started to get confused

A. | 2 comments I truly love physical books, but I like to listen to audiobooks on my commute or while I’m doing laundry.

ScarletVicsen | 1 comments I definitely prefer physical books, however, I've recently gotten into listening audio books on my commute to and from work or while I'm cleaning up. I've fallen in love with reading all over again introducing this new form into my daily life!

Andy Gooding-Call (bookworm_5) | 1 comments Because of my commute, I’ve really fallen in love with audiobooks. I still read with my eyes, but if I couldn’t read with my ears too I’d never finish anything. On a side note, I have friends and family with physical limitations that preclude them from reading visually. Audiobooks have been wonderful for them.

Thomas | 1 comments I’ve started reading novellas on my commutes, especially small form factor short stories. I tried audiobooks years ago, enjoyed them, but it’s not booking. It’s storying.

message 12: by Sacha (new)

Sacha (supersonicsacha) I have actually been loving audiobooks lately. I find certain genres work better, like thrillers.

message 13: by Khloe (new)

Khloe | 2 comments I definitely like reading physical books way better than listening to audiobooks. I've listened to some great audiobooks, but nothing compares to reading a book.
