Have you tried Robin McKinley's? She's an author with more than one blog. I'd say she's just a hair cynical, too. :-)

I think you're looking for something like this: http://www.raptitude.com/. It's not very cynical though, quite the opposite. Check out the "essential" posts.
Also, not exactly a blog but an awesome page is www.zenpencils.com, it's a mix of great quotes with comics.
I can admit I also blog but my blog is mostly reviews with some ramblings of recipes and workout info. Not too much snarkiness or life musings coming from my way - but I do read and review Romance.
If you're game, you can check mine out - it's a variety of stuff. I initially began it because you're meant to have one if you're an author, but one of my more recent posts is entitled "My Blog is my Soapbox," which might give you an insight as to what's happened to it in the twelve months I've been writing it. (Happy Birthday to my blog today!)It's at http://leonierogers.wordpress.com
I follow several rather interesting ones, though. http://www.rileybanks.net is a good blog to have a look around - lots of interesting posts.
Joseph wrote: "Hi Leonie, I just read the first couple of entries in your blog leonierogers... and they are great! I look forward to reading through the rest of the blog. The whole issue of agents is interesting...."Thanks, Joseph - it's a bit of a conglomeration of stuff, and I try and update it weekly, so you'll find there's all kinds of bits and pieces on it.
I've found Riley Banks Blog really interesting, and I think I'm a friend too..
I have thought about an overseas agent, but at this stage I'm contracted to Hague Publishing for my second book and they have an option for a third, so it'll be a little while until I have something new to submit. Having said that, I'm very happy with Hague Publishing.
Another blog you might like is by one of my fellow Hague authors, Janis Hill. She intermittently blogs about authorly stuff, but also blogs as her main protagonist Bonnie, who is sarcastic and entertaining. http://janishill-author.com
