If you like music, you will enjoy the history about the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Elvis is important for historical purposes in the second half of the twentieth century. He was a symbol of show business throughout the years and into the seventies. The book takes Elvis from his working class youth in Tupelo, Mississippi to his worldwide fame. I enjoyed this book because I am interested in the history of music and the influence Elvis gave to up and coming musicians. He is still an influence today in modern music.
