Newman's Restaurant

May walked into Newman's with Fern. They sat down at a table together. May picked up her menu. ((i have to go soon. :( ))

Fern sat in front of her and grabbed a menu, scanning the choices. After a few minutes, she looked up. "What do recommend?" She asked and leaned forward. "You inferred earlier that you'd come here several times before."

May laughed. "Well, the portions are huge." She winked. "So unless you have a big belly, we should probably share something."

Fern smiled at her and giggled, "Sure, what do you want?"

May smiled. "Ummm....I think we should either get the pasta carbonara or the pasta Alfredo."

Her eyes widened as she grinned widely, "I love pasta!"

May laughed. "Well, you choose, love, because I'm fine with either."

"Alfredo." She grinned and ordered it.

The server nodded. "Anything to drink for you lovely ladies?"

May looked at Fern. "Do you want anything to drink?" She asked.

"Sprite please." She told the waitress and smiled at her. Looking at May she asked, "You?"

"Strawberry lemonade." She winked at Fern.

The server nodded. "Alright, ladies. Your drinks will be right out."

May's fingers went out on the table. "I hope you like it." She smiled.

She smiled cheekily at May, "As long as I'm with you, I will."

((Sorry, made two characters and last one was extremely long. Took ages to find the perfect imagine of him.))

May laughed. "I never thought I would come back here again."

The server brought the girls their drinks.

((Sorry, I'm becoming obsessed with RPing so I keep making more and more charries...it's crazy •_•))

"Why did you think you wouldn't come back here?" She asked, her brow raised.

((ikr...we're all possessed by the demons of roleplaying))

"I don't know. I just always felt like that." May said, smiling and taking a sip of her drink.

((I call them "The Monsters" haha!))

Fern nodded understandingly and drank from her Sprite. "So evaluating by all that we've seen so far, how much has the town changed?" She was curious in how it used to be and what was her reaction and feelings.

May sighed and sat back in her chair. "This town..." She shook her head, "has changed more than you could ever believe. Newman's is the same, but most of the other shops are brand new." May smiled. "I love it. I love how new it's becoming." She took a sip of her lemonade. "Before, this place was practically abandoned. Totally rundown and like a ghost town."

Fern smiled happily at her and touched her hand. "As long as you're happy and content, I am too."

May smiled. "Good." She sighed.


The server came to their table with the food. "Will you be sharing the pasta?" She asked.

"Of course," Fern paused and looked at her. "If that's ok with you that is." She added quickly, unsure if she was or not.

"Yes. It's fine." The server smiled. "Almost everyone shares. The portions are ginormous!" She laughed.

May laughed. "Preach it, sista." She smiled and cleared the way for the huge plate of pasta.

"Is it really that huge?" Fern's eyes widened in surprise. She's never seen that large portion of pasta.

"You bet." The server laughed. "I have to carry it with both hands!" She smiled. "I'll go get it right now." She turned and went back into the kitchen.

May laughed. "Don't worry, Fern." She winked. "They aren't that big. It's just the waiters like to brag about that kind of thing."

Fern smiled sheepishly and laughed, "What are you going to put on top?"

Newman's was packed in for lunch hour. Everyone was very loud. May sighed. "What did you say, love?" She said.

She shook her head and smiled, "Nothing important." She said and looked around, realizing it again. "Have you met the others?" Fern said, her voice rising to be sure to be heard above the loudness of the restaurant.

May looked around. "Most of these people are new faces, honestly." She smiled. "I don't recognize any of them."

"Maybe the ones you know are back in SSS, hun." She shrugged and tried tune out the ruckus caused by the large crowd of people shouting to be heard.

"Probably." She smiled.

The server brought their plate of pasta. "Alright, girls." She set the side plates in front of each of them. She put the serving spoon inside of the pasta and smiled. "Enjoy!" And she walked away.

"Woah." Fern stared.

(( it took you 22 minutes to type '"Woah." Fern stared.' ?))

May smiled and served Fern some pasta. Then she served herself. She dug her fork into the pasta and ate it.

Fern shook her head slightly and began eating, savoring the delicious taste. "This is really good!" She exclaimed after her first bite.


((No Cx it was 5AM when we were still RPing so I kept dozing off.))

May laughed. "Save some room for dessert too." She smiled. ((fair enough. ))

Fern nodded and shook her head. "Alright."

May smiled and took a bite of her pasta. "Yum!"

"What're your favorites?" She asked suddenly, leaning forward.

"Favorites in terms of desserts or entrees?" She asked.

Fern nodded, interest showing in her amber eyes.

"My favorite dessert here is....probably the macadamia nut molten cake. It's to die for." She laughed.

"Then let's order one, it's on me." She grinned, showing her straight, pearly teeth.

May sighed and smiled. "Alright. But let me tell you one thing...it's not small." She laughed

"Nothing is small here." She smiled cheekily and laughed.

"Not even my love for you." May winked.

Fern blushed and laughed, "Even your beauty."

May smiled. She took a bite of her pasta. It was almost done. "How did I eat that all so fast?" She laughed.

"Only you." She grinned and looked down at her remaining pasta. Fern had already began feeling a but full.

"My stomach is bottomless." She laughed. "Swimming takes a lot out of you."

"Tell me about it!" She giggled and finished up her food.

May laughed and ate the last of her pasta.
