Is there any other way??? Although I think someone was promised cookies before and are still waiting.
At this point in the discussion, I feel compelled to recommend a book my wife swears by: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
I should be sleeping. Why am I up? Oh, we are supposed to have cookies????? One cookie, yum yum. Two cookies, more yum yum. I have some of those little bity oatmeal cookies that come from Trader Joe's. They are YUM!!!!Joking.....it's 3 a.m. I better have an apple.
It's 10 in the morning central time and I'm just surfing the net. Going to get to writing my movie review of Haunter for Saturday for my personal fb for friends and family then got my bible reading and read more Bridge of Time later and tomorrow I am typing/posting chapter 8 of my AbyssFantastical serial up here on goodreads so I hope everyone who is reading it will enjoy it. I can't wait for Big Bang Theory tonight too! ^_^
It's 1:10 in the afternoon here on the east coast. A beautiful sunny day. I've done 4 loads of laundry, folded and put away. Cleaned the bathroom, made the bed, made tukey bacon, eggs, and waffles for breakfast, grilled cheese for lunch. I've watched 2 episodes of Joan Knows Best from my DVR, and helped my 4&3 year old on the potty(potty training makes me feel like a chambermaid). Next plan, play a little Kitchen Scramble on facebook, troll around goodreads for a bit, do a couple of surveys, and 2 hour quiet time for the kiddos that they will spend reading(one stayed home sick from school today). After that I have to take out the 20 cornrows in my oldest daughters hair and then wash it. Can't wait for Grey's Anatomy and Scandal tonight!! Will probably watch last nights Criminal Minds as well.
tip for potty training: don't use Pull-ups. Get the kids used to wearing "big boy or "big girl pants."Pull ups wick away wetness and the lack of discomfort of being wet doesn't discourage them from wetting their pants, thus prolonging potty training. Switching may be messy for a day or so, but by 3 days, they will be potty trained.

Well that worked for my 3 year old daughter...
My son is a whole 'nother story. He has Austism so just getting him near the potty is an accomplishment thus far. The only time he is willing to go right now, is when he wakes up in the morning and from naps. I've tried putting him in underwear and being wet in them doesn't phase him as he has just done this while sitting eating his lunch. (cleanup break)
Amber wrote: "btw do you guys like horror and fantasy stories? I was just curious."Not really. Especially not horror!
Amber wrote: "btw do you guys like horror and fantasy stories? I was just curious."I love adult-fantasy. I don't enjoy vampire love stories, but ones about wizards slaying dragons or Hobbits being in a fellowship are right up my street.
Don't like horror though. I find them dull >.<
Thanks Kerry. I was just curious cuz I wrote a Ya horror fantasy web serial here for fun on Goodreads and wanted to know if there were any horror and fantasy readers that wanted to read it cuz I was searching for readers and feedback for it as mine was about a girl who ended up in a nightmarish wonderland called the AbyssFantastical. and it had an elf, an evil wizard, a metal dragon and other things. I wrote more information on it on the promote your book thread here in the group in the authors folder on message 45 if you want to take a look.
Yeah I do Dips. I'm a fan of Robert Englund who inspires me as a writer and he does a great job at being scary. Plus am a Stephen king fan too.
Awesome Dips! My fave Carrie film is the original as I don't watch remakes and could not read the book but the original film was great.
Btw look at message 26 and you'll see the reason why I asked if you guys liked horror and fantasy stories. :)
Dipanjan wrote: "@ Amber - I saw Carrie a few days back (the new one). I quite liked it. I think Carrie is a pretty awesome girl. I was thinking of dating her as well."You do make me giggle.

"Morning." -Yawn- "What's for breakfast?" She didn't bother turning around. "Go put some clothes on. You can't eat in your underwear."
"Mumble, mumble." I turned and shuffled back to the bedroom and sprawled across the bed.
"Breakfast in five minutes," echoed down the hallway.
Kerry wrote: "I want to go to sleep. I shut my eyes. I can't sleep. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"That is not going to be a problem for me tonight. Now, getting up when the hubby calls on his way home, that is going to be hard.
hey all sup? not much here. Just got my dress for Promocalypse the zombie prom they are having in Nashville on the 26th and can't wait to go! ^_^
Amber wrote: "hey all sup? not much here. Just got my dress for Promocalypse the zombie prom they are having in Nashville on the 26th and can't wait to go! ^_^"I SO want to see this dress! :D So jealous, wish they had stuff like that in my town. England isn't really big on the zombie scene D:
Yeah it's their third year doing it at the cannery ballroom and its their spring event where you can go as a zombie or human and dance and take pics and stuff. My dress will be black and gold.
Amber.......I want to see your dress too!!!! Do you go in full make-up????? Zombie hair and a twitch?Do you have a date for this affair?????
@ Amber - All the best at Zombie prom. Try not to trip in that dress. I am told Zombies don't like Trippers.@ Kerry - I am willing to sign a petition and you can sue England for NOT being big on the zombie scene.
@ Ter'e - Why so curious?? (said like Why So Serious - Joker)
thanks Ter'e! Great Bend is actually almost dead center in the middle of Kansas. about 100 miles north of Wichita.
My kids are 48, 46 and, as of yesterday, 43. They didn't have zombie proms to go to. My grands are 24, 24, 21and 21. I am 65. Do the math. Get your fingers moving. Yep, I was one young mother.I love young people and what they do, these days. Lots of really great "young adults" being raised. Never met a young woman who didn't enjoy the attention from her prom dress, no matter the style.
Amber wanted to tell us about her dress........I want to see her and put my big smile on!!!! I am betting the dress is awesome!
Dips.......its a girl thing!!!!
Thanks Dips. It's a short dress so I won't trip. LOL. and Tere I will be going with my family and we will have zombie makeup on and not sure about the twitch. LOL. got my hair cut short too for it. need to learn the thriller dance for it though. My dress is black and gold with lace roses on it. ^_^ We will take pics so I'll post a pic of my dress and zombie makeup afterwards. I want my dad to do mine as he did a good job when I went as a zombie version of myself one year for Halloween and I looked scary. :) hope we can find fake blood too. BTW, I'm 26 so am past the young adult phase, lol and the zombie prom is only for ages 18 and up so anyone can go to it.
I just saved $61.55 at the grocery store this afternoon!!! Winning!! Started at $133, only payed $71!!!

Did you see the shopping mall somewhere in England that was going to be demolished but for a period of time they filled it with 'zombies' and you run around and fight them and try to escape??? I soooo wanted to go, but I couldn't :(
