What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I saw this book on one of the list here on goodreads. The female MC told her family about her boyfriend. Which was a lie because she dont have a boyfriend and but the man she pick to tell her family about is very real and he dont know nothing about. She ask him to pretend to be her boyfriend. I only read the synopsis and thoght I saved it to my want to read list but I didn't and I can't remember what list it was on either.

I think this might be Asking for Trouble (originally British, but also published in the US) by Elizabeth Young. There is a filmed version ("The Wedding Date"), too.
