yay yay! so, I'm thinking my guy is a total ass, and he's really rich. Maybe came from a super rough background, and had to work really hard to get where he is now. is completely used to getting what he wants. what do you think?

I don't think there's anything else ^-^ I'm thinking that my guy is wicked dominant, and probably has slept around a ton. Maybe used to drink a ton, maybe used to smoke too. But he cleaned himself up and worked really hard, and is now the owner of a really wealthy company. I just can't wait to get started cx

Well I was thinking he would fall in love with her but she wasnt returning his feelings because she was so busy worrying about her mothers addiction. So to get her to feel something back he hires the attacker and saves her. And she's so grateful to him but she's terrified and so he offers her to stay with him so he can protect her? And since her mother is so off the rails and she wants to get away from it she takes him up on the offer. Thoughts?
yes, I like that! ^-^ with the whole love thing, I'm thinking my guy knows he's extremely attracted to her, and hasn't really wanted anything as much as he wants her. I'm thinking he is in love with her, but is terrified at the prospect of love since all he's ever done is one night stands and fwb and such. So he doesn't really recognize the fact that he's in love with her, if you know what I mean?

Yeah definitely! I figured that would be the whole dark romance thing coming into it, as well as the whole attacking thing hahaah xD Everything sounds good to me!! Shall we make our characters? I'm in the middle of making mine at the moment so she shouldnt take much longer!!

Ashley is a very beautiful girl with natural wavy crimson red hair, flawless green eyes that stand out against her immaculate skin, and a light olive complexion. Her hair sits just passed her shoulders. Ashley is an average height for her age, as well as weight, and has a curvy figure that usually grabs her a lot of unwanted attention.

Ever since she was little Ashley has always been a bright and intelligent girl, aspiring to go far in life so she could have a life that her parents were never able to give her. She’s a really sweet kind of girl who would always do anything for someone who needed her, however she is often quite shy around people she doesn’t really know, or that she feels uncomfortable around; this is mainly older men given her history with her father. Despite Ashley’s terrible run of luck in terms of her family, she hasn’t turned out as bad as most people would expect if they knew what she had been through. Even though she can be shy and find it difficult to trust people, Ashley is a very caring and loving girl, who is often doing whatever she can to take care of her mother, even though her mother uses all the money to fund her alcohol addiction. All Ashley wants to do most days is escape, however she loves her mother too much to abandon her. Ash knows how to put up a front, and she isn’t one who likes to talk about her problems. Although she is troubled with her past and often broken, she likes to keep herself appearing strong to those in the outside world so that no questions are asked.

Ashley’s history has been quite eventful and not to mention unfortunate. She was the daughter of her father Marc, and her mother Amanda. They seemed to be a happy family, not a care in the world and everything going smoothly. Ashley was a relatively easy child to look after who caused minimal trouble for her family, but something in Marc changed one day, and he suddenly grew a hate towards Ashley, as well as his wife Amanda. He didn’t want to be around any of them, and he developed a drinking habit when Ashley was two. When she turned three, Marc left her and Amanda, draining their accounts and taking all the money he could when he left them. Amanda was on her own to raise her daughter, and although she seemed to be trying her hardest there came a time when she had just about enough. She was jumping from job to job, and was behind on her rent for the house. When Ashley was 16 she began to work at a café so that she was able to help her mother cover the bills. However, the money was not going to the bills or Ashley and instead it was going towards her mother and her addiction which she had developed over the years after Marc had left. The money was going to her alcohol and eventually Amanda gave up working all together, and left it to her daughter. She had school, her grades and her job to worry about now, and it was becoming a lot for Ash to handle, however she chose to suck it up. Even now however, that she is 18, she still stays with her mother to support her, out of obligation and love for her. Amanda took care of her even though Marc had left them with nothing, and she felt that leaving her mother after everything she had done for her would be the worst thing she could ever do.

There had been many days when Ashley had wished that the café was bustling and full of people ordering coffees and sweet pastries, or a simple meal to tie themselves over. When the café was busy it meant that Ashley had to work more, and was too occupied with the customers she was trying to keep satisfied to be worrying about her mother. This was not one of those days. If anything Ashley was hoping for a peaceful and slow day, because she was not in the mood to be dealing with customers. She had rang her boss hours before her shift even started, asking if she could have the day off because she had to take care of her mother, however her boss denied her that request and the only care her mom needed was from vodka bottles that would be purchased with the money Ashley earned. The girl let out a frustrated sigh as she ran her fingertips through her wavy red locks, tying it up in a loose pony tail that sat low at her neck. As she approached the café she could already see the tables outside full of people, and she wished that it was just because it was too nice of day to spend inside. Wish wasted. As Ash pushed open the French doors and the little bell chimed, she was greeted with the sweet aroma of freshly baked cookies and muffins, and coffee beans. It calmed her for a moment, until she realised how many people sat in the café, their newspapers or laptops on their tables, consuming their interest as they had cups of coffee placed on their tables. These people were so blissfully unaware of the problems in the world. Ashley envied them.
“Sorry I’m late Margret, mom wasn’t feeling well.” Ashley said as she moved quickly to behind the counter, grabbing her apron and sliding it on, tying a bow on her lower back.
“That’s perfectly fine darling,” The older woman said as she stacked the shelves with bags of coffee beans that had been imported. “Is she okay? I heard the flu has been going around again. Caught it, hasn’t she?”
Ashley bit her lip gently, longing to explain to Margret how her mother was actually an alcoholic and had yet another hangover. But she couldn’t. So she gave the answer the woman expected. “Yes unfortunately.” She said with a nod, grabbing her notepad and pen. Ash forced herself to forget about her mom for now. She had a lot of people she had to serve.
