2 4 6 8 who do we appreciate!

Kristal was in the small gym practicing her cheerleading. She felt really happy when she cheered. She smiled to herself and started doing back hand springs.

Solstice pushed the heavy door to the gym open, stepping onto the lacquered floor. "Hey, Kris!" she called. "If I can call you that."

Candie walks into the gym, she was getting practice for cheerleading. She wasn't really one but she liked a jock now, sooo.

((brb. i have to go write a paper real quick. i shouldn't be more than a minute or 2. sorry :( ))

"Sure." Kristal said to Sol while continuing her back hand springs. "I like it. And hey Candie."

"What else can you do?" Solstice asked, after saying hello to Candie.

"Hey, I'm going to try-out for cheerleading. Well 'cause I like that new boy Flame. He is so hot." Candie says than turns bright red remembering Kristal hates him and she just said that out loud!!

"I can do almost anything." Kristal said. She stopped doing back hand springs. She stood still for a second and then started running. She did an aerial, front hand spring, and then a front flip all really quick.

"Aww," Solstice said, grinning in response to Candie's speech. "How cute!"

Kristal, who sad gone back to back hand springs, suddenly stopped. "You. Like. Flame?!?!?!" She cried angrily.

"Wait. Why not?" Solstice asked Kristal. She hadn't been there for the encounter with the two.

"He tried to kill me! Many times!" Kristal yelled.

"She hates him. Hot and Cold?" Candie says and looks down.

"Why not put difference behind you?" Solstice asked.

"I tried." Kristal said. "And that got me almost killed."

"They won't ever." Candie says

Solstice looked down at the floor. "So… that's a huge problem… And I have no ideas on how to solve it."

"Yeah. Kind of is." Kristal said.

"Yea, I'm sorry Kristal. I can't help it." Candie says and walks next to Sol.

Kristal gasped. "It might not be a problem! It might be a solution!"

Solstice sighed and sat down on the floor. "On the other hand, I'm glad I don't currently have a crush. Though I may get one one day."

"What is it. My bestfriend and my crush!!" Candie says excitedly

"You might be the solution Candie!" Kristal said excitedly.

"What!! How." Candie says surprised.

"Yes!" Solstice exclaimed. "You'd bridge the gap perfectly!"

"He likes you. He hates me. I hate him. You are my friend. You can make him chose. He can either keep hating me and lose you, or stop almost killing me and not lose you!" Kristal said

((brb. I have to do homework that is due tomorrow. I have a lot, but I am doing a little at a time so I will be back in 2 or 3 minutes. bye and sorry -_-))

"But how do you know he likes me?" Candie ask.

"Well, does he act nicely around you?" Solstice asked.

(gtg, dinner))

"Yea, but..." Candie says and trails off.

((same. eating amazingly))

"But what?" Kristal asked

"He might not like my because of you." Candie says sheepishly.

"Oh. Kristal said. She slumped to the floor and didn't even try to cover up her sadness. "I'm sorry."

"No, no, that's not what I meant. I mean that he might not wanna date me because ...." Candie says trying to find a nice way to say it but she couldn't. "Sorry. That's not what I meant." she says. "You are my best friend."

"See? This is why I don't date," Solstice said, trying to lighten the situation.

"It's ok." Kristal said. "I know what you mean."

Candie hugs Kristal, "I'm sorry. Wanna see what I can do?" She asks.

"Sure." Kristal said, being enthusiastic and happy again. She stood up.

Solstice watched. She had never been good at gymnastics.

Candie did an aerial then a back handspring followed by an Arabian double role. After she did a front walkover and finally a butterfly 2/1.

"So.. how was I?" she says.

"Wow!" Solstice said, clapping.

"Wow!" Kristal said. "That was fantastic!"

"I could never be able to anything like that," Solstice told Candie encouragingly.

"Thanks. What about you?" Candie asks

"Me?" Solstice asked. She paused. "I can't. I'm not really a gymnast," she replied.

"What are you in here for then?" Candie asks

"Because I thought I'd come to support you guys," Solstice said with a smile.
