These aren't mine, i just found them, i don't have any Twilight tattoo's, this is just an example of obsessiveness. Plus even if i did i'm 21 so it would be legal.

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

*shudders after looking at post 1* ok,i am offically scared for life...

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

twilight tatoos are weird

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

I'd say the worst i found out of the above would have to have been the one with the gashes with blood coming out with the text, i have a feeling that whoever that was will be regretting it in a few years.

Christina Russ (WEIRDteensAreNORMALteens) | 34 comments I love Twilight, but i won't ever tattoo it on my body. My way of remembering the epic saga is reading it.

I can't stop anyone from getting a tattoo, but I have some advice, for those who have made up their made up their mind, and are dead set on getting one of these.

1.) Avoid any shady artists, if they offer to do it on skin on any major bloodlines (i.e: Veins, Jugular) they aren't legitimate. Search for the right one as if your life were in their hands.

2.) Think about getting something small. Tattoo shops aren't closing all over the world, if you get a small apple or ribbon, or a little lion and lamb, it won't be too disfiguring. You can always go back and add more, if you're happy with the one you have to begin with.

3.)Symbolism, if you wan't something to remind you of twilight that's great, but you don't need to have the words "Edward & Bella" across your back. Think symbolism. This tattoo should be about you, and your body. So, if you want a mark on your skin to remind you, that same mark doesn't have to remind you of everyone else. Try getting an apple, only twilight fans, and people who are familiar with it will know what it means. If you love Edward, get a lion. Never, I repeat never, put names on your body. What happens when you're on a date and he notices the the word "Edward" on your arm? The natural assumption is "Who is this dude? An Ex?".

4.)Take it for a test Drive. If you have never had a tattoo before, try getting one of those temporary ones, you can order a special version, so it looks like the one you want. Keep putting them on for a few weeks. Get the feeling that your willing for it to last longer (like forever).

I have not personally had a tattoo, but if I did this is what I would do. So I thought I would share the steps with you guys.

And, no if I ever did get one it would not be Snoopy. :)

me aint gettin a tatoo, never... lol, other than the fact it would b embarrasing at a swim meet, im got enough scars and all as it is...

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

BookGeek wrote: "But it would look so great on you!"

Lol, thanks. If I were to get a tattoo I would make sure I was older than 21, and it would be a tiny one on my ankle (can be covered by a sock), and it would be a symbol for something only I can understand. No faces, no names.

You know, i can imagine that. You come out of the locker room, and everyone sees you flaunting your Twilight tattoo. You better hope that there are no Twilight haters there.

Christina Russ (WEIRDteensAreNORMALteens) | 34 comments Oh, sorry. I didn't know because you're discussing things with us so calmly; all the Twilight haters i've encountered exploded when i wanted to discuss it.

message 27: by Christina (new)

Christina Russ (WEIRDteensAreNORMALteens) | 34 comments Well, i can understand why some people do hate Twilight so much. Some people obsess over it way too much.

Sorry girls but I have a lot of tattoo's and I have to say that I would get the one that says "If I could dream at all it would be about you" and although the way its done is ugly the one that says "there are no rules that can bind you when you find your other half" those are such great quotes!!!

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Stephanie wrote: "Sorry girls but I have a lot of tattoo's and I have to say that I would get the one that says "If I could dream at all it would be about you"

What I was reffering to were teenagers, who are uninformed, and don't know the do's and don'ts as I'm sure you do Stephanie.

Oh I wasn't talking to you girl...the info you gave was really great!!

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Thank you.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Stephanie i'm so glad i'm not one of the only ones that could find some of the above interesting. I myself have a few tattoos and whilst i wouldn't get a Twilight related tattoo i can still appreciate the work and the thought that has gone into some of them. Though as i said above i'm not a fan of the one with the blood gashes and think that that person may end up regretting that one i actually really like the one on the arm thats a combined work of all the covers.

Cristy wrote: "Stephanie i'm so glad i'm not one of the only ones that could find some of the above interesting."

Ahem

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

Sorry Melzz i wasn't trying to ignore you, you seem to be pretty open-minded about the whole tattoo situation and have good opinions on what to consider before you get a tattoo.

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Is there anything you would add?

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

BookGeek wrote: "Why pray?"

She hates twilight, and a lot of people around her love it, it's every haters nightmare. Hence the need for prayer lol. :D

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

lol, the solution is simple: keep a sweeney todd obsessed twihater around

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

We like sweeny todd obsessed twihaters! (That was specific, wasn't it?)

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

wa...? *shudders, and hides in coffin* then neither me or mty friend are safe!!! *slams coffin lid and locks it*

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

*Evil Laugh* Muhahahaha

You can't get to us, neither you nor other twihaters can annoy us anymore. This twilight group is like a civilization that has evolved passed outrage.

>:D

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

okay then, but thats a good thing... we can still act annoying as we want and not get cussed out or mobbed for it! XD

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

XD That is a very good thing for you.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

lol... hehe... *shaky laugh*

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)
