Niiiiice... :D
Okay, yeah, fair enough -- this group is for writers to connect, and romance is a very strong topic and inspiration that makes for beautiful writing. Or we can all just chat about crushes, whatever, hehe...good one, RLF!
I must ask, though...what is RLF for?
Really Lovely Fairy?
Ranting Lemonade Fountain?
Romantic Lalala-ing Firewoman?
Okay, now I'm really curious :D

Oooh. Let's see. Five years.
(Which swiftly ended about four months ago, when I FINALLY realised that the aforementioned guy had a girlfriend. Erk.)

I still like him, but Im kinda shy... (with him and like thats all...)

Riiiight, let's see then...
The main idea would be, then, to catch up with him outside of school. Bumping into him in the hallway may not be enough, maybe, so try inviting him to a party or something. I'm not suggesting you ask him out on a date (but if you do, then YAY for being brave!), but if there will be lots of people at this party/event, he won't feel pressured.
Basically, just try to find time in the weekend, perhaps, to catch up with a bunch of friends (that just happens to include The Guy). A movie could well be an option, even -- if you make Guy feel like he is involved in your own circle of friends, he will be ultra-easy to talk to. If he's comfortable around you and your friends, then asking him out will be than much easier :D

No problem with changing your mind :)

Kipling, Im sorry, I agree with Anastasia, there is no problem with changing your mind, after all, he changed him self. :D
I'd have to say our relationship lasted about a year maybe a little less then that, he was cheating on me with some girl, and I'm still now suspicious of other guys now go out with me. But, it's close to impossible to find another gay guy to date, but in more recent news my crush and I are finally dating so, yay!

Thank you for your help its great help Kipling! :D
And honestly, don't worry - I've never been to a party in my life!

Contest, peoples! Action stations! Woot woot!

I have this crush on a guy and I sit next to him in almost every class. I think he likes me back but we're in sixth grade and I don't want to be dating at all (yet). Plus my friend, who sits on the other side of him, who is always raising her eyebrows at me when I'm around him. She stops...sometimes.

Vinita, I understand where your coming from, maybe you just try to be friends with him, it may help you get to know him and see if maybe you still like him, be his friend for as long as it takes until your ready to date, by that time you may like him still or not, but at least you would know him. :D Oh and why don't you simply explain to your friend where you are coming from, that it bothers you and that maybe she should stop. If she doesn't do something more embarrassing to her when she gets a crush, that way she will stop. :D
I hope this advice can help! good luck!
And Anastasia? Can I HAVE A CUPCAKE?!?!? :D

Can I have a cupcake?

What's this about cupcakes?!?!

CUPCAKES for EVERYONE! Yaaaaaay!
They're cupcake-flavoured :P
