Jasmine isn't the archetypal rich, catty, backstabbing ballet school girl. She did attend private school before coming to the Kelam, as it is affectionately known, and her parents could have paid her tuition if they sold the car, the computers, and the TV. Her past is not anything terribly interesting, she grew up in a middle-class Los Angeles family with one sister and is the best friend of Tamara (my Vanderbilt Academy for the Elite character).

For the most part, Jasmine is not someone who stands out much outside of the studio. She doesn't say much unless you know her well, in which case she is probably a fairly helpful friend who tells bad jokes and makes somewhat awkward conversation. She is very self-conscious.
