We decided to keep with the hidden gem reads for next year (yay!) so I am taking the top 12 members who would like to take a monthly book pick for 2016 (well top 11 because of course I want a pick :)

I'm in! Also willing to pick for multiple months if need be.

Me me me! :) And as Ashley said, I am willing to do multiple ones if there aren't enough volunteers.

Ok great! I think I will send an email around and then go from there. Three down - nine to go!

Now to cruise my shelves and see what I've got... hm. I know I've got one I haven't read and one I want to reread, but I like having a handful to pick from :)

I found a lot of great books this way last year so I am hoping for more of the same in 2016 :)

It's about a video game that crosses into real life--gamers will appreciate the subtle gaming nods, but non-gamers can enjoy the story as well! :)

A book about a video game sounds like it could be pretty lame (I thought so when my husband first handed it to me). But he has impeccable taste in books so I decided to give it a try. And it was well worth the read :)

Used copies for a penny! I checked and my library has it. I wonder why GR doesn't have an English description!

Ooh that looks really interesting Elora! Sounds a little like Ready Player One, which I enjoyed. :) Also here is a link to the English edition in case anyone is having trouble finding it.

Okay, I ordered a used copy :) This one will be fun! I'd never even HEARD of this, so very cool!

I'd never heard of Ready Player One until a couple of days ago and now again since you mention it Brigid. I think I'll have to check it out :)

It's a cool book, Elora! I liked it and I know a bunch of people in this group are fans of it as well. :D

It is excellent Elora! I especially loved it on audiobook :)
