I listened to this on audiobook too. The narrator did a really good job.

This Flynn novel I could barely stomach! It was really hard to read.

This is one of the few King books that I haven't read, though it's on my to-read list. Did you like it?

The Dark Half was a great story. I liked every one of the characters EXCEPT......Thad Beaumont. I loved the story, enjoyed the book, but I ended up rating it 3 stars because I didn't like the main character. Its a book that I would definitely recommend, even though I didn't rate it higher. Hope that helps.

I can understand where you're coming from. I didn't care for some of the lewdness myself, and the focus of the book seemed to be more on Camille than the murders.

I'll write something soon. I have a hard time writing about myself, so it takes me a little while to get a thought together.

Stacie (stacieh) | 1945 comments It's one of my favorite King stories but, considering how long The Stand is, I always thought it should count as more than one book ;)

Actually, I think it can. Didn't King divide The Stand into 3 books?

Book 1) "Captain Trips"
Book 2) "On the Border"
Book 3) "The Stand"

This was the first time I have read The Stand, and I loved it. Its one of my favorite King stories.
