Michelle I love the Mortal Instruments and the Infernal Devices. And currently, after reading the first two books of the Lunar CHronicles, THE LUNAR CHRONICLES! The first book is Cinder and it's sci-fi retellings of classic fairy tales with lots of twists.

Harry Potter is my favorite! And I watched the show based on Outlander, I'm not sure when I'll start to read the serie!

message 23: by Nashalee (new)

Nashalee (thehipgeeknerd) my favorite books are:
LunarChronicles, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, Liars INC, Snow Like Ashes, I'll Meet you There, Anna and the French Kiss, Steelheart, Throne of Glass!

message 24: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 1735 comments Anna and the French kiss is adorable! Although I am not sure how I feel about Isla and the Happily Ever After...

message 25: by Nashalee (new)

Nashalee (thehipgeeknerd) I havent read Isla yet but I didnt like Lola.

message 26: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 1735 comments Yeah I didn't like Lola as a character that much as well, she just wasn't relatable what with all the wigs and everything :/

message 27: by Nashalee (new)

Nashalee (thehipgeeknerd) I like wigs and all that but I found her very needy...

message 28: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 1735 comments I'm being careful of spoilers as I don't want to spoil anyone but yes she wasn't independent at all.

message 29: by Nashalee (new)

Nashalee (thehipgeeknerd) That's all I'll say... hehe

message 30: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 1735 comments I ordered it online and I'm kind of scared to start reading it, haha.

message 31: by Victoria (new)

Victoria (victoriammd) I ordered it in my bookshop! I'll probably started it after new year's! I read Les Misérables this summer, so I'm no afraid of big books! :p

message 32: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 1735 comments I like reading big books as well but as I've heard so much good things about Outlander I am afraid I won't like it and that would be a major disappointment.

message 33: by Victoria (new)

Victoria (victoriammd) I'm not that afraid of that! The show is so good that even if the book is just as good that's enough.

message 34: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 1735 comments I've never watched the show, but the Outlander series seems pretty long so I'm going to see how I go with the first one.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Victoria (victoriammd) No, I didn't ask for books this year, but I did ask for a new bookshelf as I have no more place left in my old one!

message 46: by Lexie, Reading and writing is my paradise! (new)

Lexie | 758 comments Mod
I'm only getting two new books that I know of so far. But I usually get some money from family for Christmas so I'll probably use that to buy more books.

message 47: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 1735 comments Yeah I'll probably just buy books with Xmas money.
