Juanita (juanitav) | 744 comments I'm a little late getting to this -- sorry about that!

Still no update from me. I focused on my book club pick last week which doesn't help me for my remaining prompts. I'm 49/52 with three weeks to go.

How about the rest of you? How is it going for you?

Oh and one more thing: I opened a thread for those who finish or have finished so we can throw confetti at you. Be sure to hop over there and share your good news when it happens.

I am going to try to tackle Frankenstein for a book more than 100 years old or The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom for "a book you started but never finished." That will leave a book you were supposed to read in school.

Sarah I finished All the Light We Cannot See and started reading Girl at War. I really like it so far. I've ticked off 38 prompts and think I can do another 4 so I'll have completed 42 by the end of the year which I'm happy with.

Katherine (kiik) | 158 comments This week, I completed The Artist's Way (bottom of your to-read list) and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (banned book), which brings me back on par with 49 books. The last 3 I have planned are all super long, though, and I'm not sure there's much I can do about that. Guess we'll see. Maybe I'll perform some magic.

Megan (mghrt06) | 546 comments I finished a play, and book set during Christmas. Yesterday I finished banned book. So that leaves me with one prompt left (book with bad reviews) and one more book to finish with my goodreads reading goal.

Beth Last week I finished 3 books: A Wrinkle in Time (book from my childhood) which was disappointing, The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror (book set at Christmas) which was hilarious, and Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead (book started but never finished) which had some good advice. This puts my total for the year at 41.

I am currently reading Life and Other Near-Death Experiences (book with antonyms in the title) and listening to Funny Girl (book published this year). I am enjoying them both and should finish them this week. BTW, the narrator of Funny Girl does a great job and I would definitely recommend the audiobook.

Suddenly, I'm all fired up to try to finish this challenge by the end of the year. Still probably won't happen, but I've been reading a lot in the last few weeks and reworking my list to find books that I want to read that I can finish in the next few weeks.

Kaci | 67 comments I'm finally coming to terms with not finishing. Kind of frustrating because I'll be so close- but I still can't believe I read so much this year! I've read 4 books these last few weeks, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Life and Other Near Death Experiences, Slaughterhouse Five, and The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Phew haha. That brings me to 43 prompts finished. I should finish another 4 or 5 by then end of the year. (See, so close! Haha)

Mindy Jones (mindyrecycles) I've been doing the challenge since summer but just found this group. Oops! It's been a little lonely so I'm glad to be here now and excited about 2016.

At any rate, I've just started my very last book of my last task, which is the trilogy, so I will just make it! I'm on book three of Leo Demidov, Agent 6.

Nicole Welcome Mindy! And congratulations on finishing the challenge in such a short time.
