Undersea palace where the queen holds court

Selkie sat on her silver throne at the front of the throne room, only half listening to the discussion taking place. She wished Conch were here. She always managed to make the meetings more interesting, with some comment on what the council members were talking about. But not today. Things had been so boring since Conch left.
"Selkie?" asked Queen Aquatic. Selkie jerked out of her thoughts
"Yes mother?"
"Anything to report"
"No mother. The eggs are doing fine." Dragonet care. What a stupid responsibility. Personaly, Selkie didn't think there should even be a place on the council for dragonet care, now that there was nothing threatening the eggs.

"Swordfish?"
"Yes, my queen. The Claws of Power attacked again, a village in the outskirts this time. They made it away with some treasure."
"None of ours, I hope."
"No, of course not, my queen."
"Okay then, on to the next item of business." Selkie fumed. The Claws of power was a group of rebels against the crown. Queen Atlantic should be fighting them, not ignoring them. Yet another thing she'd do when she was queen.
"Mother" Selkie spoke. "Aren't you going to solve the problem? Isn't that what Queen Auklet would have done?"((If we find out for sure which queen it actually was, tell me. I don't have rights for Anemone though, so it's auklet for now)) Queen Atlantic seemed shocked. Selkie, the quiet daughter. The one who could be depended upon to be perfectly obedient and never go against mother's orders.
Guess what, mother, Selkie thought. I'm done with you.
"When are you going to actually fight them, defend your subjects?" That's the point of being queen, isn't it?"
Silence fell over the throne room.
"Meeting adjourned" spoke Atlantic. She seemed calm, but Selkie could sense the anger bubbling just beneath the surface. "We reconvene tomorrow."
The queen didn't say the last part, but heard it as clear as if it had been spoken aloud. They would reconvene tomorrow. Without Selkie.

Nighttinker: "wooo this is amazing" he stardes to swim swiming just as fast as a seawing and went up to the gates
Dreamer: "its so so difrent like the rainforest but not" she looked around with awe
Nighttinker: he walked up the the gard at the gate he looked half asleep "um hi im nightinker this is dreamer and thats breeze mind if we stay awile dont worry we arnt asasons"
Gard: he flashed in aqatic "how how what your but how what?!"
Dreamer: "ooo i like your peal anklet" she stared at it
Gard: he flashed "uhhhh thx? Um i dont know what to do how are you not dead how are you talking to me"
Nighttinker: "im animus duhhh" he pointed at his anklet

Breeze waved to the guard, "We mean no harm" she had a sweet smile. Joy overwhelmed her so much that if she was a Rainwing, she would burst with yellow. Breeze gracefully twirled and flipped around, "Mind if we check the palace off?"

Gard: "uhh the last guy animis was evil are are you evil"
Nighttinker: "ha ha if i was you will be dead wont you im not evil"
Dreamer: "he is ok dont worrey hes not bad"
Gard: "um wait hear im going to go get my siperior he will know what to do" lots of time want past whean he came back with a seawing with scares on her
Inksak: "hellow my name is inksak i suspekt you nighttinker"
Nighttinker: he looked aroned "i dont see eny other boy nightwings so i think thats a good gess" he bowed polightly
Dreamer: "hi im dreamer we cane hear cuz amber wanted use to kill eachother man she is so rude"
Thay saw a arrow in the water booming tawards them it stoped and it was the spear it ran up to breeze snugling her side
Inksack: "whats that" she drew a small blade from a puch on her side
Dreamer: "its ok its with us"
Inksack: "ill let you in just you cant bring that wepon"
It looked sad and walked to a rock and layed down inksak saw it "o i think i can make a exeptshon for this little dude" it got right up ran ran right back to breeze

"Why?" Breeze asked curiously, bowing to the princess. She started towards Princess Beach, not being nervous at all. She liked how some currents tugged at her tail and talons but they were too weak. "Is it like a waiting room?" She could imagine a fancy waiting room

Breeze smiled at her spear, though a bit shocked at the arrow. She seemed to hug itz

Nighttinker: "welp pleasont meeting you ill be on my way" ghe walked past moshing for them to come breeze intersested in her spear and dreamer admireing the land skarpe
Dreamer: "yes yes comeing" she ran after him breeze behind her "wana go the the castle"
Nighttinker: "and deal with more anoing gards no thanks" a sea wing prince swam up to them
Dragonet: "um are you seawings?" He flashed
Nighttinker: "nope im nighttinker and this is.."
Dragonet: "ho-ho-how are you talking" he studerd and tuck off
Dreamer: "that wasnt nice"

Breeze tilted her head at Beach, "Three queens?" Though she was already following Nighttinker

Angelfish gracefully glided through the halls, her scales glistening in the dim sunlight that shine through the water

Angelfish glanced at the Prince. She had a small smile, Hello, it's the afternoon she corrected kindly, tail swaying in the water. Your majesty, why are you sleeping in the middle of a hall? she asked

Angelfish rolled her eyes, Uncle Turtle was timid, and shy. I wouldn't think a Prince like you would try to behave like him she flashed back, trying not to seem a little annoyed. She was usually patient but the Queen had sent her on an urgent mission. She had just returned with the pearl the queen had wanted and seemed to have a need to give it to her as quick as possible.

Angelfish rolled her eyes again, Forgive me for being disrespectful, but, Turtle isn't really the best 'role model' she flashed back, turning to leave. I don't have time to chitchat anyway, the Queen needs something that I have

Angelfishs' gaze snapped to the Prince. Anger flared from her shimmering eyes, as she seemed to be going towards her angered personality(2nd personality). You stupid bottom feeder! I am the Queen's personal.. she glanced sideways. The Queen trusts me, more than she'll ever trust you! I will never consider that low bottom feeder, sorry excuse for a Prince one of the Royal family! she flashed quickly, tail lashing in the water. She didn't care if she was back talking a Prince. Besides, you're a Prince! Not a princess she slightly felt bad for what she was saying

Angelfish felt like poking his snout, The question is, who do you think you are? The queen? The king? Wanting to be like Turtle? bubbles streamed from her about as she laughed. You wouldn't understand how she trusts me she flashed, obviously irritated. You aren't sent to get the most precious jewels, to kill the most dangerous dragons! she snapped, immediately regretting the flashes/words

Angelfish quickly slapped Waterscales, Well I'm sorry, your majesty she flashed in a mocking tone, even though she actually was sorry. I have been trusted with a task that any dragon would quickly decline she flashed quickly, glancing to see if anyone was near. Tasks that the queen sends me, that could quickly get me killed if I'm not careful! she paused, tail swaying as she calmed down. The names Angelfish, and I am loyal to your mother, and no offense, your majesty, but I cannot just wait around while your mother might just have my head for not being fast

Angelfish was quick to react, twisted her body and trapped the figure in her tail. She threw it at him, Watch it, pretty boy. I don't want enemies, but I'm just trying to get my job done she shot him a small flirtatious smile before turning away. She slowly swam away, almost as if to wait for him to call her back

Angelfish was now feeling a bit ruffled, she quickly grabbed her dagger, slashing it at the Seawing. She twisted until she heard talons tapping on the ground. She dropped everything, even the dagger she was holding.

The Queen continued to tap her talons against the floor of the palace. Are you two done.... Socializing? she flashed rather angrily, glaring at the Seawings

Angelfish was already in a bow, Your majesty, I was trying to find you when I caught him sleeping in the halls she flashed apologetically. We sort of... Got in a scuffle and then I slapped him after he greatly insulted me she was actually shaking in fear of what the Queen would do.

I admire the courage to admit that, but you ALL are in deep trouble frustration pooled in her eyes. You three will come with me she glared at all of them, but showed no emotion towards Princess Beach

Angelfish glared at Waterscales, but she the anger seemed to seep out of her. I'm sure the Queen will be done with speaking to us quickly, so you can take your nap while eating some fish she flashed before closing her eyes and silently following the Queen


Beach, you are dismissed she knew that Beach was a threat to her, so she decided to let her daughter go. She led the two into a small room that had one throne, which she sat on. The jewel she flashed, smiling when Angelfish darted up and placed a piece of gold shaped to look like a gem in her talons.

The Queen held it up to the light, glancing at Waterscales. Why were you asleep in the halls? she flashed, wondering if he was paying attention

Angelfish nudged the Prince gently so he'd get the flashes

Angelfish stepped on his foot, glaring at him. She wasn't going to flash her scales, considering the Queen was watching. She stared at him as if to say, 'ITS THE QUEEN!!!!!!! GET OFF YOUR BUTT BEFORE SHE DOES SOMETHINF TERRIBLE!'

The Queen examined him. "Doesn't look like my sister did a good job with him..." She thought. Alright, but when you sleep, go to your PROPER quarters for sleeping! she paused, eyeing the golden gem again. An idea had popped in her head

The Queen nodded, Yes she flashed, though beckoned Angelfish to come to her.

In a hurry, the small Seawing was at her side, still trembling. Yes, you're majesty? she flashed, wondering what she could want

I have a specific job for you. There's been a little.... Uh.... Problem The Queen glanced around for anyone else that might be watching.

For the last time! I don't kill daughters her gills flared angrily.

The Queen looked shocked, Don't be an idiot! I can kill my daughters myself when they challenge me she looked rather annoyed. I need you to take care of hunting down a specific Seawing she beckoned Angelfish to come closer so that her scales were hidden when she flashed them

Angelfish leaned in, she knew the Queen meant killing that Seawing.

He has light green scales with a small mix of blue flash patterns The queen flashed, her focus on her trained assassin. He's been getting into the palace undetected, and stealing things. Of course we've gotten the items back but we've never caught him

Angelfish bowed, I'm on it, your majesty

Angelfish disappeared into the halls, swimming as fast as she could

Angelfish returned the next day with gold, meeting up with the Queen again. After being slapped and scratched by the queen, and being called a disappointment she was rather tired. The thief hadn't robbed anything in years and it was the hardest mission she's ever been sent on. Blood slowly floated from her wounds as she swam, leaving the angry queen alone. Angelfish was snapped awake when she realized what day it was

The Queen had wanted Angelfish to participate, just in case if anything happened, the queen would be in full control of her young assassin. Angelfish highly doubted she was an animus, considering she had cursed at many dragons, though nothing happened to them

Angelfish quickly stopped, slightly embarrassed they had run into each other again. She put on a smile and bowed Your majesty, you don't need to bow to a bottom feeder like me she had taken his words and processed them carefully through her brain.

Angelfish nodded, How did you know? she had refused to meet his gaze. She was trying to respect the boundaries between a Prince and a 'bottom feeder'

Angelfish smiled a bit, Well, I'm sure she'd love a new animus to play with she joked, though she was rather afraid of animus dragons. Of course she had never told anyone

Angelfish bowed again as he left, waiting a while before following him. She had found coral the color of her scales to patch up the wounds

Angelfish nudged him, Do you always sleep? she flashed teasingly. She smiled, her tail gently swaying as she swam
