There's some interesting work being posted in this list.My last novel was a paranormal tale with a touch of romance. It's been called Harry Potter for grown-ups and also likened to Bewitched. Basically it's the story of Holly who, at 38, discovers she's a witch and suddenly she's having to come to terms with the uncertainties of an alarmingly magic-fuelled world. Magic, however, is not like it is in the books and films (including Harry Potter), and Holly starts to doubt whether her fairy godfather, Partridge Mayflower, is the fey, avuncular charmer he appears.
It turns out that when appearances are magically deceptive, Holly cannot afford to trust those closest to her, including herself. Accidents start to happen, people die, Old Magic is on the hunt, but in the age-old game of cat and mouse, just who is the feline and who is the rodent?

The romance isn't right out there in the first book, but bubbles under the surface, leaving a lot to the reader's imagination. The sequel carries on the story after the cliffhanger ending of the first book....

OMG! First I've been reading Paranormal romance for a very long time. Second, let me say that going from Contemporary Romance, Romantic Suspense, and Western Romances to Paranormal Romance is a very scary jump. Why? Because I think readers or PR are 'More' loyal and more... well, just more. But, in the past week, I've had nothing but supported words and excitement from everyone. So, thank you PR readers for opening your arms to me and welcoming me into this new genre.
