I'm looking forward to trying to reduce my TBR pile as much as possible this year. It would be nice to try to get rid of one book shelf, though the urge to buy books (used or new) can sometimes get the better of me. I'll post as I go which ones I read from the TBR pile rather than trying to plan ahead of time. Should be fun!

It wasn't as good as the others he's written. The perspective and time period changed quite a bit throughout - even mid-chapter. Worth reading as it gives insight into how all of the characters' lives are intertwined.

- Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand

- Do They Hear You When You Cry by Fauziya Kassindja"How did you like this book? It's on my wishlist, too. I had never heard of it until it popped up in my Goodreads recommendations - it seemed interesting enough to add it to my wishlist.
I really enjoyed it! It was interested to learn about the immigration process in the United States and quite horrifying to hear all of the experiences she went thorough. It is easy to read, but also provides background on some of the legal issues that needed to be resolved.
