Does The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset (The Hunger Games, #1-3) by Suzanne Collins count? :P

Shivam Kalra (thatwriterfromdelhi) | 41 comments If you like good music, try Ayreon. The mastermind behind it has been following a story in his albums. Elegantly articulated. It has both pre and post apocalyptic story. Story from beginning of human race till the end, and how we are adulterated by an alien specie.

Yash (ysharma) | 96 comments I liked The Road. It is very sparse in true McCarthy fashion.

Thats an interesting storytelling format @shivam. Will check it out.

Not quite sure about graphic novels, but you can try Oryx and Crake also. It is the first book of a trilogy (MaddAddam).

I would also include The Handmaid's Tale even though it isn't strictly post apocalyptic, leaning towards a more dystopian feel, I feel that it encompasses some of the elements that you are looking for. Both are by Margaret Atwood and she writes beautifully.

Utkarsh Bansal (yourfriendlyneighborhoodbansal) | 68 comments If you enjoy mainstream comics, you might be interested in Wolverine: Old Man Logan by Mark Millar. It is sort of a post-apocalyptic version of the Marvel Universe. The world looks great, but it doesn't have much of that nostalgia you talk about.
