How about a play to start off a Short & Sweet New Year! Make your suggestions on this thread.
The suggestions can be your own, as long as they meet the S & S criteria, under 250 pages, or you can choose from our bookshelf:
https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...

Looking forward to your suggestions!

Melanti I'll nominate Cymbeline by Shakespeare.

I haven't read a whole plot summary, but from what I read, it sounds like it'll be a story about jealousy akin to Othello.

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Jenn Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Schu (jennschureviews) Thank you for getting us started, Melanti :)

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) I would like to nominate Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller. It has been on my list forever.

Sadly, this has already been read by the group, but can be revisited at the leftovers thread:

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Jenn Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Schu (jennschureviews) I'm going to recommend Euripides's Medea.

Oops, I should have paid better attention. Will take another look

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Jenn Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Schu (jennschureviews) I noticed a few other Arthur Miller plays :)

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) Thanks for the heads up!

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Jenn Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Schu (jennschureviews) Thank you, Nikki :)

Is this a play? I can't add the book to our poll unless it is a play. Thanks. :)

Qiong (qwoo) I don't read many plays generally. But I'm thinking, maybe Waiting for Godot? Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett

message 16: by Huda (new)

Huda | 1 comments Macbeth maybe

Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Jenn Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ Schu (jennschureviews) Added The Long Christmas Dinner and Other Plays to our bookshelf and noted Macbeth for the poll. Thanks!

Good choice, but we read it in 2014. If you'd like to read or add to the discussion, here is the link, Qiong:

Excellent suggestion :)
