If you're an international author, not stationed in the US, leave a reply. I'd love to know how many of us are there :)

I moved from China back when I was at the prickly age of seven.
@Safa, oh, Oman, that's cool :) It's my first time meeting someone from Oman.@YiCheng, I guessed right. Haha!

Are my English that bad? :)
@Safa you too, Safa!@YiCheng your Ingrish no bad. Haha! But I guessed from your name. Liu isn't a common Chinese surname outside of China.

Yeah, I guess that's an interesting line of reasoning, but who's to say I'm not "corrected" by autocorrect (*cough**cough* I hate autocorrect. It had once auto correct my character's name into 'all good seagull doors'...)?
@YiCheng, I guess I'll never know. Haha! Oh yes, but auto correct does make life a little more colouful. That sounds like a very unique name.
I'm writing SCI-fi and a little of fantasy at the side. You can check it out if you want: https://www.inkshares.com/projects/th...
@Safa I mostly write fantasy :) One of my project is already published by Inkshares (The Battle for Oz). The other one is in the Sword & Laser Collection contest (The Slave Prince).
Hi Safa! I'm trolling this thread even though I am not International.I would like to invite you to submit an entry to the Inkshares Authors Anthology. It is sci-fi or futuristic fantasy. The anthology title is Earth In The Year 10,000.
The link is below. Read the comments section for more info.

I believe the rest of you here have already been invited, but if not please consider yourself invited.
The beauty of this book is that we will have 12 to 15 authors involved - so when we start the funding phase we'll have the combined power of all of our supporters coming together to get to the 750 pre-order full Blown publishing deal level!
I can pretty much guarantee that we will accomplish that because I did it all by myself with my own book (as did Jeyna!) And we both did it before this awesome collaborative effort on Goodreads was started.
Hey guys I'm Craig, sort of from Canada :) and my book is https://www.inkshares.com/projects/th... I have actually been to Oman (briefly). I was travelling back from Yemen to Bahrain by car and passed though to have a look on the way :) That was... at least 18 years ago :P
@mykl, you're more than welcome to troll anytime :)@Craig, why hello there!
@YiCheng, oh yes. Head count now is... 5 :) I bet there's more.
Jeyna wrote: "@YiCheng, hahaha!"If EA actually have an office that actually have a person that isn't a money-worshipping white male, why don't they produce a video game that doesn't scream "F- YOU! PAY ME! You don't need the fifty hard earned dollars, give it to dungeon keepers or Star Wars Battlefront."? Just a thought, but I'm personally sick of those micro-transaction games EA keeps churning out to kill joy.
@YiCheng, correction, book publisher :) So that's all of us? Only five?
Do any of you face certain funding challenges being an international author? Let's talk it out. I know I have a few setbacks coming from a country with a weak economy. Haha!
Jeyna, you had a large number of supporters who donated at the $5 level for Oz, too bad that isn't an option anymore.

Sort of from canada?
Hello, I'm Kelsey Barthel and I'm from Alberta, Canada.
My book is called Beyond the Code.

It's very cold here right now

Ha! Australia is the exact polar opposite of cold.
I worked at EA, and our department was incredibly diverse. Remember that the video game industry is spread worldwide, and that video game developers are hard working individuals from all sorts of backgrounds that live for creating entertainment for others to enjoy.
@Mykl Oh yea. I got a lot of support because of that. People don't feel like it's such a big amount, even after currency conversation. Now it's a little more difficult being 10$. @Craig, agreed. It used to be free. But after hearing from Inkshares, I cannot say 'no' to them charging. It's rather pricey. 20$ to my country, if not mistaken. (I did suggest if people get a few books, they could offer free shipping, but my suggestion didn't make the cut. Or they didn't see it among the others. Haha!)
@Kelsey, hello! That makes us 6 now :)
@Amanda, must have been fun!

So I tend to say a few bad things about the company from time to time.
The video games they released these days seemed less 'creativity' and more 'hey lets steal fifty bucks from Star Wars fans and incorporate an few hundred DLCs into the sims'
Hi, MJ from Brisbane, Australia, here,My books are The Charlton Affair and Order to Kill: A Vampire's Vengeance and it's hot and quite humid here...I think for anyone from Canada, you might say it never actually gets cold here. Although I disagree, as sometimes in June or July I have to wear a jumper (sweater I think you call it) :)
Cheers

G'day, mate. Seeing a fellow resident of down under is good and all, are you planning an inkshares project or currently funding on inkshares?
@MJ Hello there! I'm heading for Tassie in April :) Extremely excited for the cooler weather in that state. Haha! And we call it a sweater from where I'm from. I'll be packing a few.
Hi, Yicheng and Jayna, yes I'm investigating an Inkshares project and OMG Tassie - Freezing even in summer :) but such a truly gorgeous place - have a great trip - MJ

Crowdfunding is hard, but if you don't hit any buyer roadblocks...you're going to be fine.
@MJ Yup, it is indeed hard, but not impossible :) And thanks! I could use the change of weather. Haha!
Hi,I'm from Peru.
My novel is set in the U.S., though. It's called:
