If I am allowed to suggest my own, then
Once Bitten, Twice DieCurrently on Amazon at discount (and being reviewed by Hollywood producer for potential film - exciting...)
Ghosters Ghosters by Ralph Robert Moore promises to be a different sort of read. This guy thinks well out of the box.

Antony and Jenny, please refrain from suggesting your own books. I know that it's hard to garner attention for your works, but this is not the place to do it.
If allowed, this thread would soon disintegrate into all self published authors promoting their works.
Other authors, further suggestions of your own books will be deleted.

Understood and apologies. In that case, can I suggest an old book? "The Shining"? never got round to read it, but would love to...
I enjoyed Stephen King's 'The Dark Half' a few years ago. It has an intriguing premise, which is half the battle for me, when I'm in reading and not writing mode. Also, I second Antony's suggestion, 'The Shining' - a masterpiece of creeping terror somewhat different from the film.

Of course! Thank you. :)

A BookTuber, whose opinion I highly value, has this on his top 20 of 2015. Therefore, I second The Lesser Dead.

I was going to suggest either The Bazaar of Bad Dreams by Stephen King or The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum.

Hey, O!! Nice to see you here! *waving* :)

Any of the above would be ace (I'm always looking to try new books), but I especially love and extol The Wasp Factory. It is creepy, heartless, draining but totally engrossing. Any excuse to read it again!

I'll second The Night Boat"
LOVE ME some old McCammon and some new King. :)

I've been wanting to read that book for a long time.

I'll nominate Furnace by Muriel Gray.Gray's debut, The Trickster. is one of my favourite horror novels. When she was waiting for Furnace to be published she received a phone call out of the blue saying it was one of the best horrors they'd ever read - from Stephen King, who had been sent a copy of the manuscript.
I say Stephen King bazaar of bad dreams will be on my short list to read come January since its the present that I will be opening on Christmas morning

Good luck with the Hollywood review Antony!
I'd like to do Bazaar of Bad Dreams, too, as some folks suggested above - but hey what do I know, this would only be my second group read ever!
Michael Bray Project Apex by Michael Bray. It is brand new and the reviews are coming back excellent. We could also arrange a good deal for your readers.
Since I just bought it I suggest The nightmare girl by Jonathan Janz. I am not sure if you read it already as a group read though
Since there's no theme for the month, I'm going to recommend my suggestion once again from last month:
The Girl with All the Gifts
Steven wrote: "The Ritual by Adam Nevill."i second that one! Got it for my kindle and it looks cool.
Even though I nominated a book already, I'll 2nd The Girl with All the Gifts
Might as well have 2 child "monster" books to vote for ;)
