Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Once upon a time, a Cursed King ruled a human kingdom. The King claims that they are at a time of peace, but in truth, they are always at war with the Kingdom of Dragons. The Dragons thought that they were doomed... until one day, a Prophecy began to form.

Cursed King, the true darkness
Pure evil and all that is not kindness
His reign of terror will end
In the son of dragon and human blood's hand
Alongside the son and daughter of the Cursed King himself
the Dragonhuman will bring balance between dragon and humanself

The Cursed King still runs the kingdom, alongside his queen. He has them all fooled. They don't even know he's cursed. Cursed by a witch that he burned years ago, he's managed to hide it for so long. The Queen worries for his mental state, as he's never been truly stable, but she is more concerned of her little brother, Muse A. Muse A never liked the Cursed King ever since he married his older sister. It annoyed him so much. He didn't understand how or why his sister married the nutjob, but he didn't really want to question it either. He really just wanted to go far, far away...

It was strange when a stranger came and talked to Muse A. The stranger is Muse B, who asks Muse A what they wish for, what they want dearly. Muse A tells the stranger the truth; to be taken far, far away from the kingdom, to be free.

What Muse A didn't expect is for his wish to come true, as that night, a dragon invaded the kingdom and took him away from all of it.

Muse A was more scared than relieved, but what feared him most is the fact that when the dragon dropped him off at their cave, they turned into the stranger they met on the streets. And they wanted Muse A to be his mate.

This is where the prophecy began.

Requirements
-This is supposed to be MxM, and it's going to remain that way. If you don't wish to do MxM, then maybe I can think of an alternate plot with the same theme.
-No Insta-Love. Obviously.
-You're Muse A, the Prince of the Human Kingdom. I'm Muse B, the Dragon wanting Muse A to be their mate.
-If you wish to continue the "Prophecy" aspect of the story, I wouldn't mind it at all, as to obvious reasons that the Prophecy would be based a little ways after this event.
-For Minor Characters, I'd like to be in control of the Cursed King. If any more minor characters come about, especially if we continue the "Prophecy", then we can figure it out when we get to it.
-No Godmodding, obviously
-No Sensitive Content, and this includes myself.(Ex. rape, gore, etc. (The only possible gore that would end up coming to this plot is through fights or if we continue the Prophecy and the ending of the king, possibly))
-I can go above PG-13, but it would have to be in PM.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments I was planning on doing that XD Hello XD

message 3: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Oh, sorry about that. XD

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Nah, don't worry about it XD But anyways, we might as well get started on our characters X3

message 5: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Yesh. XD Can you make yours first? I have to go to a Christmas Eve party right now.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Name: Nathan Fallison
Age: Looks 19, is really about 1,350 years old.
Appearence:
Human-

http://36.media.tumblr.com/69af8990fc...
Dragon-

http://pre14.deviantart.net/441c/th/p...
(A "Hybrid" form would probably be a mix of the two)
Personality/Possible History: Nathan is a kind, thoughtful dragon, who currently has no mate for himself. He's begun to look for a mate recently, and some of his actions caused him to be banned from the Dragon Kingdom. Now unable to look towards the Dragon Kingdom to find a mate, he began to enter the Human Kingdom in search of someone, anyone to be his mate. And as of recent, he believes that he found the person that he desired...
Other: Humans believe that Dragons are a species of living beings that are born with no heart in their body, and so Dragons had begun to keep the hearts of dragons who passed of old age, and pass those on to the younger generations. Nathan happens to have one of these old dragon hearts.

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Name: Rory Ashton
Age: 18
Appearance:

Personality: Rory is a very soft hearted guy. Usually. If it does with the Cursed King then all bets are off. He hates him. He hated him from the second he met the man his sister married. She would have had such a nice life without that man... She doomed the whole family with that marriage... And now here he was. Begging to get out so he could be him. He wanted to be free ans be kind, be the person the kingdom needed instead of the king who would never stop lying to his subjects.... He would be different if he got reign....

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Gdi I know who you used as a faceclaim XD Alrighty, so, I wanna say that we should start this before Rory meets Nathan on the streets?

message 10: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Haha, I had to use a pretty boy. XD

And sure. Sounds good to me!

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Alrighty; You want to start it up or shall I with the Cursed King?

message 12: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Can you, please? I'm on mobile. XP

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments (Alright)

The King chuckled. His name was actually Tino Singuard; King Singuard at that. Singuard was looking outside the window of his castle, enjoying the view of his kingdom and the village that lied within the kingdom's walls. He glanced back, seeing the prince and his wife talking to each other. He snickered, turning around and looking directly at the two. "Why, isn't it a nice day? We should go into the courtyard; maybe even see how the locals are doing, huh?"

message 14: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments This woman ruined it all. We used to have a nice life, and now we're stuck here.... Oh the horror. He thought, looking up to the king who had said something to the two of them about going out into the world. He sighed softly, rubbing the back of his head with the small crown he wore around. He was the next in line really, until these two had a child, then it would all be different. He wouldn't be important... And he could leave.

His wife, the queen, nodded to her husband, "that sounds like a splendid idea!" She said, standing up from where she was and looked at her brother who grudgingly stood up, looking down at the ground. He was hoping that if they went out onto the town, he'd be able to get away from this king... Even if it was only for a few minutes.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Singuard smirked, seeing the look on Rory's face. "Heheh, in all honesty, the town seems like a really good idea; I'll probably have Tobias come with us just for security, but just only him, since I don't want the town to feel as if I'm a higher being just because of the security around us."

Tobias was the head guard of the royal family. In fact, he was a crucial part in Tino Singuard's past, involving the witch. He knew that Singuard was cursed, but who would believe him? He was tempted to tell the Prince the past few times they were alone, but something kept him from doing so.

message 16: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Rory stood up and brushed himself off, looking down at the ground. He nodded, listening to the king, but knowing that they pretty much were higher than the rest of the people, though he guessed it was important to have it seem as if they weren't. He rubbed his arm, wondering if he'd be able to get away, actually away. He looked at his sister, and then the king again. "So, shall we be off?" He asked, just wanting to get out of this God forsaken castle. He hated it here, he hated it anywhere. Everywhere just felt dirty to him. It felt like everything was just.... melting from the horror that was their king.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Singuard smiled at the two before beginning to walk to the door of the room they were in. "Why, of course, Rory; time's-a wasting!" He nodded towards his wife to go first, secretly planning in his head to keep Rory in the room for just a moment. You know, like a short man-to-man, King-to-Heir conversation?

message 18: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments His wife nodded, "I will go and retrieve my coat first." She said, smiling at the two and walking out of the room, leaving her little brother and her husband behind.

Rory was ready to follow her, not about to be stuck in the room with the king, not wanting to be stuck here with him. He hated him, he didn't want a thing to do with him. Who would? Besides his sister? He did notice something else though... The king wanted something.... He could tell....

message 19: by Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ (last edited Dec 25, 2015 11:20AM) (new)

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments The King smiled wickedly, closing the door before leaning against it. He snickered, looking at Rory. "Hehe... I can tell that you're trying to figure me out; aren't you, Rory." Singuard seemed to purposefully take longer to say the other's name. "But if you know what's good for you, I suggest you stop while you're ahead; we wouldn't want to... Run into an accident, would we?"

((That moment when the innocent King turns into a bastard, A+))

message 20: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments "I do not know what you're meaning." He says. "I'm just here for my sister, your highness." He says, looking at him and wanting to move away from him. He looked outside to the town, "aren't we supposed to go with my sister? I would hate to leave her waiting." He said, trying to get out as he walked to the door.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Singuard chuckled, glancing to his left, then to his right, then at Rory once again. The smile he normally wore went clean off his face, turning into a frown. "Rory, don't play dumb with me. I'm not stupid. You've hated me ever since I got here, so you must know something. Or at least that something's off about me? But no matter. If you wish to get more explained, talk to Tobias." Singuard sat up from the door, it opening on its own and almost what seemed to be a shadow opening it for him. He simply smirked and walked out the door. "What's the hold up, Rory? We don't want to keep your sister waiting~"

message 22: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Rory blinked at him, raising an eyebrow at him. "Just because I don't seem to like you, sir, doesn't mean that I think something is going on. It could also be that I just don't like you." He said, looking away from him to see the door and going through it. He didn't really know if he wanted to know. If he could get out of here, that's what he was going to do. If he was going to stick around though, like he figured he was going to get stuck doing, then he thought that he probably should do that... To keep himself, and possibly his sister safe.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments (Sorry for the delay >_<)

Singuard didn't catch the other's last comment, already outside of the room. He noticed Tobias was near the doorway, making a small smirk as he past the other. "Tobias, The Queen, the Prince, and I are planning to head out into town, and I want you to come with us, being our head guard, and all; Heh...." He then grinned, grabbing the other's chest plate and yanking him closer. "If the Prince asks you of myself, go ahead and let him know the truth. He's an interesting character, and I feel that he could be useful in ridding of my curse..."

Tobias nodded, knowing well not to judge the King's thinking.

"Good..." The King let go of Tobias, heading further towards the throne room of the castle.

Creepily enough, it seemed something was following Singuard.

message 24: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments The boy walked with them out of the room, glaring off into another direction. He didn't know if he wanted to know about the psycho king. If he didn't know, it might make him feel safer with having to live as close as he was to him. Then again, if he did know, he would know how to deal with it better. He glared at the king slightly, but ended up just turning his eyes away. Tobias was there as well, and he was slightly tempted to ask him what the heck was going on. He glanced up, feeling as if there was something behind him, but he couldn't.... figure out what it was.... It could be his imagination, or it could be something that he was always thrown off by.

He glanced over at Tobias, blinking at him. "I might need to have a conversation with you later. So I better know how to.... rule my kingdom when my time comes." He said, continuing to walk, as if he was trying to hide that he was going to ask him from the king.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Tobias nodded, following the Prince as he saw the Queen pass by earlier. Once there was a moderate distance between them and the King, he spoke. "Prince Rory... If you wish it, I can have another guard come with and be with the King and Queen if you wish to part from them and talk privately without their interruption..."

Tobias knew that the Prince was in danger as long as he was within the King's presence. The Curse of darkness and illusion... The Curse that draws its host into wanting more and more power, to genocide, to corruption... Tobias knew well of the King's Curse. He recognized that witch's words. Curse of the Shadow it was called... It was not a pretty curse if it was controlled by the cursed.

message 26: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments ((Y'Know, it'd be funny if Tobias had a thing for the prince and this turned into a love triangle. XD))

Prince Rory looked over at Tobias when they were father away from the king and that they would be able to talk more freely. He nodded to him, "That would be fine, though, you do not have to." He said. He did want to be away from the king when he asked though, so Tobias was coming up with a good point. "But... I wouldn't mind also just being able to socialize as well, so please, if you wouldn't mind doing that, it would be much appreciated." he said, hands in his pockets as he walked next to the guard to the King.

He had never truely minded Tobias, though, because of the king, he was always put off my anyone that was around him. Even his sister sometimes got weird looks and he wouldn't go around her sometimes.

(This time, this delay was not my fault XD I've been so busy that I haven't been able to go on, and it didn't help that my free week was the same week I got grounded by my mom. I would have replied sooner if it weren't for these obstacles. I'm gonna reply now XD)

Tobias nodded, listening to the other's words. It was a good thing of this, because he needed to talk to someone. He's been holding this in his chest since... Forever, it felt like. "I'll see if I can get Sir Berwald to join us and guard the King and Queen while I am with you..."

Sir Berwald was Tobias' "second in command", and the old Royal Knight before Singuard came to this kingdom. Tobias felt horrible for taking his place, and he allows Berwald as much command as he wishes to have, mainly because he doesn't want Berwald to feel replaced... (Lol I was uncreative with the name here so :P)

message 28: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments ((Haha, good job. ;) ))

((I noticed. I was really confused where I heard the name and then I remembered it was yours. XD))

Rory nodded to Tobias, hoping that he was someone that he was going to be able to trust this guy. He figured that he probably could, then again, the king had told him to talk to him. Either way, he was going to talk to him. "Sounds fine to me." He said, pushing his hands in his pockets, watching the man, "I will meet you downstairs then." He said, turning and starting to walk down to the main room. He didn't know what was going to happen after he found out what the hell was wrong with the king, the man he was supposed to be able to call a brother. He was more like a demon in human skin though. Little did he know, that he was basically right.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments King Singuard looked over at Rory, hearing him from a little ways away. He grinned, almost like the grin of a devil, greeting the Prince once again. "Hello again, Rory. I'm assuming Tobias is not far behind?"

The king's answer was quickly answered as Tobias headed own the steps, followed shortly by Sir Berwald. King Singuard raised an eyebrow at Tobias before the knight spoke. "The reason Sir Berwald is with me is because I felt like he would be a great hand in the case a group of people decided to rebel. Although that's not common, it's better safe than sorry." Tobias explained, followed by a nod from Sir Berwald. He was strangely silent, the second in command...

Sir Singuard nodded at the two. "Alright. Well then, let's head out, shall we?"

It seemed that something was already prepared as the doors seemed to open themselves once the royal family and their Knights stepped out of the castle.

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Rory looked doer at the king who gave him that terrifying smile that always chilled him to the bone. Why did she have to marry him? That was a question he couldn't stop asking himself.... Why did she doom herself to this man's insanity? He would never understand, "Of course, sire." He looked back to see the door open, his eyebrows raising for a second. Though, he started out, like they were all going to do... Oh, if something would only kill the king.... Their life would be much better, along with the lives of the people.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments (Just to quicken the process a little bit -3-)

After a few minutes of wandering around the town, Tobias and Rory managed to split away from Berwald, Singuard, and the Queen. Tobias huffed, looking at Rory once they were out of earshot of the King and Queen. "They're pretty far away now... I think it's safe to talk..."

Meanwhile, a hooded figure stood in an alleyway not far from Tobias and Rory. He wore brown rags, and the only thing visible of his actual body were his hands and his face. His eyes were grey, and it appeared he had red hair, which was abnormal around the village. Most of the time, people with abnormally colored hair were assumed to be dragons, so he kept it hidden well. The ironic part of that, although, was very simple. He was a dragon.

(Finally we get to introduce Nathan! XD)

message 32: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments ((Sweet. XP))

Rory looked over at Tobias as he huffed out, catching his attention. He rose his eyebrow at him, "Alright..." He whispered back to him, he didn't trust the king at all. He could have super hearing for all he knew. The king was creepy enough for it. He looked over at the king and queen, wishing that he could knock some sense into her, but he knew that it was too late. "What is going on with him?" He asked, looking over at the other man. "He's... Strange.... Creepy.... Has a dark aura around him, and I can't figure out why." He shook his head, pinching the bridge of his nose. He didn't notice the man that was in the alley, he was too busy trying to figure out the king and trying to shake that creepy and dirty feeling he always had when he was forced to be in the same room with him or even being able to see him. His pictures were enough to make Rory's skin crawl.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Tobias huffed, beginning to tell his story. "Whenever the King was still a prince, he got into some trouble with a witch. I was his personal knight, so I happened to be there to experience it. The Prince was known for hating anything non-human, and, while his father and mother were away, he ordered for the elimination of all witches; he was planning to go much further. This one witch, however, knew of his plan ahead of time, and once we arrived at her home, she started attacking us. It was then, however, that before Singuard was able to conceal her magic with a stone of his father's, the witch cursed him." Tobias glanced around himself, pausing in his story, before he looked at Rory and continued. "She cursed him with a spell that would've killed him for sure... But it didn't. The spell created some kind of... Shadow demon, in which consumed the Prince's own shadow, and was supposed to continue onto the Prince's actual body. But it didn't. Instead, it appeared to be... Curious? Of the Prince's thoughts. I wasn't fully aware of the situation at the time, but I knew for sure that the witch didn't seem to expect it. That's when she put another curse on him, in which made it so he could only survive on the blood of dragons... Of course, this only enticed him. The Prince got stronger from the shadow demon, and he craved the death of dragons. He killed a dragon single-handedly, and he drank the blood of it like wine. We all noticed that the Prince wasn't aging as quickly as other men his age, and we felt it was the result of the dragon's blood... When his parents passed on, he told me that he wished to get a wife, and that he could have someone to pass on his curses to... And it lead us here. A Princess and a Prince, along with no parents, ruling over a vast kingdom... And Singuard got an idea." He sighed. "That idea was to pass on his curses to you. Which is why I warn you now: you must get out of the kingdom. Fake your death, do something to escape here... I care for your safety, and I don't want to see someone like you be taken advantage of."

The hooded figure overheard their conversation, and he stepped out from where he was hiding. He began walking in the same direction they were, trying to get a little ways ahead of them. He planned to 'accidentally' bump into the pair.

message 34: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments He listened to the story, only slightly believing it, though, he didn't know why Tobias would lie to him. He wouldn't, would he? Of course not. Tobias was kind, even if he was the King's knight. He bit his lip as he continued, though, when he got to the final part, his eyes widened. He looked at him in shock, stopping in his tracks, "Wh-What?" He asked, his face draining of all color, him turning as white as a sheet of paper. "Th-That's not..." He shook his head, eyebrows furrowed. He looked down, "Why are you warning me?" He asked, "Why did the king tell me to ask you if he knew about this?" he asked, his blood turning to ice in his veins.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Tobias sighed. "I have no idea. I don't believe he wanted me to warn you of his plan, but he actually did allow me to tell you his story... He probably wanted you to be scared of him. Give the... Shadow demon... Something to feed on. From what I know, the shadow demon feeds on fear, which is why he purposefully acts strange... But as I said, it's probably best you try to leave while you c--" Tobias bumped into someone, he clumsily getting back onto his feet. "S-Sorry sir or mad'am, I didn't mean to bump into you!"

The hooded man looked at Tobias for a second, then simply turned to Rory without any second comment to Tobias. "Sorry if I interrupted you two, I'm just surprised you are aware of the Cursed King's powers... Only a few full blood humans are aware of it..." He reached up to his hood, pushing it backwards and revealing his face completely, along with his red hair. "My name is Nathan. I'm a merchant who was at the King's kingdom at the time of his... Phases. It's nice to meet you both, Prince Rory and Sir Tobias."

message 36: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Rory continued to walk with him, gulping. He was terrified of the king, even more now that he knew what was really going on. He looked down at the ground, his eyes wide with terror. He nodded to him, I-" He looked up though, seeing that Tobias had run into someone. That was unlike him. When the man turned around though, his eyes grew even wider, seeing the red hair. Full blood human? He wondered, his mind such a muddled mess that he couldn't think straight.

He had to run through it all in his head before he could even attempt to reply to the man that was now in front of him. The king hated all of the non human creatures when he was a prince, he ordered all witches to be killed, one cursed him.... Now instead of dying he had a demon with him. A shadow demon that now fed off of fear. Rory was scared because Berwald wants to give him the curse instead of the king.... Tobias cares about him.... He then ran into someone. The kid's name is Nathan. he's a merchant who knows.... He just called them by their names. The correct thing to do is respond.... Respond fool!

Rory looked up at Nathan after those few seconds of gathering his thoughts and putting them in order, his eyes wide. "Y-Yes. P-Pleasure to meet you as well, Nathan." He said, still shaken up, but he had to at least try to stay calm in front of the commoners.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Tobias nodded to the merchant. "Nice to meet you, sir. You overheard us?" Tobias wasn't very trustworthy of this merchant, but he couldn't draw his weapon unless the other showed some kind of threat, which he had yet to do.

Nathan nodded. "Yeah. The King's past is quite the interesting one." Nathan smiled at Rory. He knew well that he chose correctly. These two had to deal with the Cursed King every day, so they knew well of his eeriness. The Prince, however, was more of an interest to him than the knight. And therefore, he asked. "This may be an odd question, but I usually ask this to every client I have, so it wouldn't hurt to ask you, Prince Rory: What do you wish for most in life?"

message 38: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Rory looked at the merchant, not totally scared from the man, since he had Tobias, and he trusted Tobias. Now even more so than before. He at least had a great reason to trust him now. An odd question from an odd man... Fitting. He thought, waiting for the question, him blinking after hearing it. What do I wish for most in life? That was a hard question, it really was. He wished he could save his sister from the evil man, he wished that the world would be safe... But since those were unlikely, he said the only true wish he knew in his heart to be true, and one that must come true. "I would wish to get as far away from this place as I can."

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Nathan smiled at the wish. It fit perfectly well. He liked how perfect it fit. "That's an interesting wish, coming from the Prince, but I can see why you would wish for it." He reached into the brown rags he wore, and he pulled out a necklace that had a black stone dangling from it. "The King's shadow demon is simply just that; a shadow. A dark creature. Someone traded this stone to me, and it turns out that it repels such dark creatures. You may have it if you wish, and you don't have to pay for it; think of it as a gift." Nathan actually had this stone for a while, but it wasn't through a merchant trade, but it was a gift to him from a witch he knew. The witch cared for him as a friend, so he wanted to make sure that he remained safe. He didn't need it, so he wanted to give it to someone who did.

Tobias was weary of the object, but he did find it strangely familiar. Maybe it was as he proposed. Tobias glanced at Rory, giving him a look that basically said that it was up to him whether he wanted to take it or not.

message 40: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments The Prince looked at the strange man, hoping to hell that this man wasn't in on the plot to get the shadow demon to go to him. Though, if this was something that could protect him, he wanted to take it. Perhaps he could give it to his sister. She needed to be safe from the demon that was following him around. Though, he was going to make sure that it worked, and that it was actually going to do what it was said to do before he would put it on her. He was never going to allow himself to curse her with something so horrible. He reached out slowly, "Thank you." He said, taking the necklace into his hand and looking over it. It was pretty, and it would be easy to wear and hide under his clothing.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Nathan nodded. "You're welcome. Now, I must take my leave; the King is approaching, and he may assume me a dragon with the hair color I wear." He put his hood over his head once again, and began to walk off, waving the Prince and his Knight goodbye. "We may see each other again, Prince Rory." He said once more before he was no longer visible in the crowd of people.

King Singuard approached the two who stood in the middle of the pathway. "Ah, there you are, Prince Rory and Knight Tobias; we got seperated in the crowd, it seems. We've been out for a while, so I feel that it's time to head back inside. Don't you agree, my Queen~?"

message 42: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Rory looked at the man, nodding to him when he said that the king would figure that. It was true, he would probably do that. He just hoped that he wasn't a dragon, that would be quite the predicament. He nodded, though, he didn't think that they would see each other again. Why would they see each other again? He was a prince after all, and there was a very low chance of him ever meeting just a random commoner. Though, he didn't really know if he was all that random. It could be all part of the plot, and he'd never know. Well, he would, but it would probably be far too late.

He looked at the king as he came towards them, waving to the man before paying attention to the king and the horrible aura that he now knew was a demon.... How could his sister not feel that!?

She looked up at him though, just as always, and agreed, "Yes, I do." She said, giving him a kind smile, just as she always did, and always would. He was her husband, after all.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Singuard chuckled slightly. "Let's go then, shall we?" He put in the form of a question, turning around and beginning to head to the castle. Although, something of him didn't move. Singuard's shadow seemed to disconnect from his body, leaving him shadowless, and the shadow rose from the ground, observing Rory with white, oval-like eyes. It was entirely black, and mimicked Singuard's appearence, but it had large, white, oval-shaped eyes and a white colored grin, appearing it's teeth were 'sharp'.

Tobias freaked out for a second, drawing his sword and aiming it towards the shadow demon. He didn't know what it was doing, and it worried him.

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Rory looked up, seeing the shadow, his eyes widening. What the hell was that?! He moved back, almost running into Tobias. He blinked, gripping onto the necklace tightly, moving it out of his pocket and shaking. He didnt know if itd help... But maybe. He moved closer to Tobias, not going to let him get hurt.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments (Sorry for the late response)

The Shadow seemed to attempt to approach further, but it was forced to a stop. It hissed, back in away when it caught sight of the necklace. So they've met THAT dragon... The shadow thought to itself, seeming to be connected to Singuard's own thoughts as Singuard up ahead stopped in place. The shadow vanished, returning to Singuard before he turned around, giving off a smile that seemed to be struggling to remain still. "What's taking you two so long? Come on."

Tobias glanced at Rory, and he simply nodded at the other, putting his sword back into its holster and continuing forward, staying close to Rory in the process.

Rory looked at Tobias, eyes wide in fear. He looked down at the necklace, nodding to him, not sure of what they were going to be able to do, but he was sure that he was going to be safe now. He walked along with Tobias, tempted to give him the necklace, not wanting him to get hurt by the evil king or his knight. He looked at it, brushing his hand over it and closing his eyes, sighing softly. He needed it though, right now. Plus if he was there, there was no way that Tobias was going to let him give it up.

He walked with him back to the castle of darkness, the hell hole, the worst place you could possibly think of... His home. God, he wished it was somewhere else, just like the man had asked him. I just want to be far away from here.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments Tobias side-glanced towards Rory, letting off a sigh as he advanced further ahead, eventually standing beside Singuard. "....He knows." Tobias simply mumbled.

Singuard grinned, glancing back at Tobias. "Good..." He then frowned. "...did a man with red hair happen to talk to you before we saw you two?"

Tobias shook his head, knowing well he was breaking a knight's code. "No... Why?"

Singuard sighed. "...no reason..."

Kate Kid (katekid) | 2532 comments Rory looked down at the ground as he walked with the two men. He glanced over at Tobias, though, he didn't know what he was saying to Singuard. He was honestly worried about who he should be able to trust here, but.... There was just something about Tobias that made him want to trust him. He liked him. As a friend... He was one of the only people he was going to miss when he was gone. His sister was the obvious one and the only one he would. But, the sad thing was, he trusted Tobias far more than he trusted his sister.

Berwald ~I Have Moved Accounts~ | 55 comments (Casually gonna make this process quicker... XD)

Once everyone was inside, it was almost dark outside. Tobias and Berwald headed back to the Knights' quarters before Singuard casually departed from the Queen and Rory. As he left he simply stated "I'm a little bit tired, so I'll be in my room if anybody needs me." He glanced back, grinning at the Queen and winking at her when he added, "Especially you, my dear~" He laughed before he continued towards his room, eventually vanishing form both their views.

As the darkness set, Nathan was beginning to prepare to leave his 'home'. ".....I only have one chance... If I mess this up... This may be the end of me..." He said to himself, looking at the stone walls of his cave. ".....I should probably make this area look more comforting before I plan any further..."

*DRAGON BUSTS IN* COME WITH ME! *Bites Rory by head and picks up and flies away* THEY DIDN'T SEE A THING!))

She looked over at her husband and smiled at him, "Of course." She said, waving at him. She looked at her little brother who was exhausted to no end of today. He was nervous to be in this place, and she could tell it. She waited for her husband to leave before speaking to him. "Is there something wrong, Rory?"

"No, my dear sister." He said, smiling at her, though, it was fake, and she knew it.

"I've been with you since the day you were born. I know you better than anyone. I can tell if you're upset, my dear." She reached forward, putting her hands softly on his cheeks.

He closed his eyes, letting her touch him, his head hanging slightly. "I know, and I really appreciate it." He smiled, "I'll be fine. Don't worry yourself over me."
