I read this book forever ago and want to read it again and thought Sandra Brown wrote it, but can't find it under her name. The main female character is a thoracic surgeon name Michaela, a secondary female lead is a psychologist named Amanda. Michaela's best friend is a doctor named, I think, Patrick. Patrick gets sick and needs a bone marrow transplant and reveals he has a twin named Jesse. They don't talk because Jesse was accused of trying to kill Patrick when they were teens and was sent away to reform school type place.
