Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I own 110 physical books and 200 eBooks. Let's get to work and move some mountains.

Brianna (bebecburt) | 96 comments I plan on reading some of these this year as well! Maybe we can buddy read some of them!

That would be real fun. I've never done a buddy read before!

I've only done it a handful of times, but I like it. It's a fun way to go through a book-you can talk to someone as things are happening!

I'd love to do that. It sounds fun.

Brianna (bebecburt) | 96 comments On your list, I know I plan on reading Illuminae, The Word Exchange, The Winner's Curse, The Winner's Crime and The 5th Wave. With the exception of Illuminae, I have no dates planned for any of these so I'm open! Illuminae I do plan on reading in January.

message 8: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I plan to read Illuminae next week. The Winner's books I was planning around the time the third comes out, so I don't have to wait for the conclusion. :)

message 9: by Brianna (new)

Brianna (bebecburt) | 96 comments Me too! I've been wanting to read Illuminae for awhile so I'm like is it 2016 yet? is it? how bout now? lol

message 10: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I don't want the hype to die down before I read it! I can't wait for January. I'm really excited for all the reading I have planned.

message 15: by Natália (new)

Natália Lopes (silkcaramel) I have a lot of the books on your list on my TBR list as well! I'm currently reading the 5th Wave and have the Ghallagher Girls series, Embassy Row and The Winner's Curse waiting.

message 16: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments Another one checked off! Space Dumplins

@Natália I seem to have some popular books on my TBR!

message 17: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I'm starting off strong. Number 4 read!

message 18: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments My first eBook of the challenge. I was in a romance mood. Waiting On You

Yes--very strong!

message 20: by Sarah (last edited Jan 22, 2016 07:43PM) (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments Another one down. Bad Monkey by Carl Hiaasen I was a bit disappointed in this book. Not nearly as good as some of his other books.

message 21: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I just finished The 5th Wave. I wasn't blown away. It was a VERY slow start. I'm not sure if I'm going to read the second any time soon.

message 22: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I read a very good one! Vintage Veronica

message 23: by Diane (new)

Diane Will (inver) | 64 comments You are off to a great start and only January...I'm impressed.

message 24: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments @Diane Thank you. I'm highly motivated! Now I just have to stop replacing the books I read.

I just finished another. Chasing Shadows by Swati Avasthi
This wasn't an easy read for me. I subscribe to book boxes to get me reading different genres, but the books tend to be harsher reads for my delicate self.

Look at you go!

message 26: by Diane (new)

Diane Will (inver) | 64 comments Wow..you are steaming ahead...well done

message 27: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments It seems like every book I requested from the library came at once, so I'm having a library reading month by necessity. I did finish Steelheart (Reckoners, #1) by Brandon Sanderson which I'm happy about. I hope to get at least one other TBR book read this month, but I'm not sure it's going to happen.

Ten down is very good--nearly half-way up Mount Blanc!

message 30: by Sarah (last edited Mar 15, 2016 06:09PM) (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments March will hopefully be better than February. Are any of these books on my original list? No. But at least they're off the mountain.

11. Dryland
12. Bright Lines This one ended up being a skim read. I didn't like it at all.
13. Strands of Bronze and Gold
14. The Infinite Sea

message 31: by Natália (new)

Natália Lopes (silkcaramel) What were your thoughts on Strands of Bronze and Gold? I have it on my TBR list for some time and I'm planning to pick it up this year.

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments Natália wrote: "What were your thoughts on Strands of Bronze and Gold? I have it on my TBR list for some time and I'm planning to pick it up this year."

Honestly, it was just an ok book for me. It was written well, but I forgot how creepy the Bluebeard tale is. I also didn't quite understand why her family left her with him even when they felt something "off". I think I rated it 2.5 stars - middle of the road. Let me know what you think about it.

message 33: by Sarah (last edited Apr 05, 2016 11:41AM) (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I'm really hoping to get to these books in April. Fingers crossed.
The Winner's Curse
The Winner's Crime
Cold Comfort Farm

message 34: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I'm finally going to read The Winner's Trilogy. I just finished the first one. It was pretty good.

15. The Winner's Curse

message 35: by Diane (new)

Diane Will (inver) | 64 comments Wow you are doing great with your challenge

message 36: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments Thank you, Diane. I'd hoped to be a bit height up, but it's not too bad.

message 37: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments Just finished my next book!
16. The Winner's Crime I enjoyed this more than the first!

message 38: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments 17. Cold Comfort Farm This book was ridiculous! I liked it almost as much as I liked the movie.

message 39: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments And 18. The Jungle Book

message 40: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I'm having a great reading day.
19. Play Nice I needed some action in my life and this delivered!

message 41: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I participated in Dewey's 24 hour Readathon and read a couple oldies from my tbr. I may end up on a higher summet at this point!

20.The Wind in the Willows
21. The Braeswood Tapestry

message 42: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I just adore this series. I'm sad that it's over.

22. Itchcraft

message 43: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments I finished two more books, completing this mountain! Bumping up the next peak. It was great to finish with some Chick Lit.

23. A Perfect Proposal
24. The Unexpected Consequences of Love

message 44: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments Thank you, Jessika!

I DNF'd the oldest physical book on my TBR and am happy to get it out of my house. I'm not sure if I should count it or not, but I'll put it down here and decide later.

Maggie By The Book

message 45: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments 25. The Shadow of the Wind This was a hard read for me. I have an issue with big books and my attention span.

message 47: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments 27. The Ring on Her Finger

This was just average.

message 48: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments 28. Marie, Dancing
I finally finished this. I really enjoyed it!

message 49: by Sarah (last edited Jun 16, 2016 06:12PM) (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments 29. Bridge of Time
This was a cute Middle Grade book. I'm going to send it on to my daughter next.

message 50: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (outtaty) | 78 comments 30. In Your Dreams

I'm concerned my nook is going to die, so I'm trying to read some of those eBooks.
