Are these recently acquired books or have the been languishing in a TBR pile just waiting for you to pick them?

I am a little obsessive and have many shelves of unread books. most those I read are from my TBR pile beside the bed. I enjoy discount book stores. I buy Harlequin in bundles fairly cheap. and I collect books of writers I like and I try only read a series from beginning so many shelves. That is why I started joining the challenges. Helps to clear shelves of books I forgot about.

You're whittling them down, Pam! I'm still struggling to find heroines, (or heroes or authors) for U, X, and Z. I know we can log them if they've just got an x in the name, but I'm really trying to have it as the initial letter if I possibly can.

I have a problem with female u. I just found author with a z not a harlequin but a romance that is free on Amazon. Gnome on the Range by Cindy Zane. I have not read yet. but there is also.Karen Van Der Zee but does not really start with Z.

I've been lurking in this conversation but I've decided I definitely need to "broaden my horizons" when it comes to character names! LOL I will keep y'all in mind as I create future heroes and heroines. I can help with the U heroine though. The name of the heroine in Jeffe Kennedy's THE TALON OF THE HAWK is Ursula. It's a fantasy and a romance.

I've got a couple of J's coming out for heroines. HER TEXAS RESCUE DOCTOR has a heroine named Grace Jackson, the personal assistant of a movie star (who is her sister). That book will hit shelves in print next week, digitally on September 1st. As a bonus, the hero's name has an X in it! LOL. I've been reading about the "X" issue. The hero is Dr. Alex Gregory. :)
Then I've got the movie star sister's book for the holidays, so if you still need a J-heroine, A COWBOY'S WISH UPON A STAR will have the movie star heroine Sophia Jackson hiding from the paparazzi on a ranch... :) Happy reading!

Nope, not cheating at all! And, thanks for all the recommendations! I hope they help others and me. :) I'm really going to have to start concentrating on these challenges more and start searching my TBR stacks to fill them. I've been trying to do these with just new books but I seem to be picking books with the wrong names LOL I'll post my update latter tonight. My hubby wants to go take pictures of the bald eagles that have 2 young ones in their nest. It is only a 5-10 minute drive but who knows how long we'll be there waiting for the perfect picture. Good thing I always have a book in the car.

In my June Desire, I have Georgie Dryfus from THE BOSS AND HIS COWGIRL, and coming in October, there's Savannah Wolfe from CONVENIENT COWGIRL BRIDE. You know, just in case readers are looking for those letters. *wink-wink-nudge-nudge* Sadly, all my heroes have the same letters--C and B (the Barron brothers: Clay, Cord, Chance, Chase, and Cash.)

LOL thanks Silver. I found some in my TBR search for the other missing letters from my challenge so I'll be listing them after I've read them this month but I thank you for the suggestion, especially for our lurkers who might be doing the challenge or just coming here to get suggestions.

Speaking of suggestions, please everyone, fill free to leave a star rating, a quick couple of sentences of review for all or some of your books read. No not it, but I have read a couple Balford brides and the book sounded interesting. I like Kate Hewitt as well. Thank you for suggestion.

Pam - thank you!!!! I have downloaded a copy of "Breaking Rules" by Sandra Heath for it's heroine called Ursula. That only leaves me missing a heroine starting with Q, W, X, and Y. But it's not December yet - still plenty of time to finish this quest.
