So...it's that time of year again. What are you attempting to add to your life or take away? It seems these resolutions can be so black and white sometimes. I am adding to my list to focus on writing as a secondary career move and make more healthy emotional choices. I know...I know. That last one sounds way corny, but I'm looking forward to less chaos in my life. Any curvy goals? I know most gals *and guys* want to shed a few pounds. Anyone marking that as a goal? Whatever you choose, I wish you luck!!

New Year's Eve is upon us! What are your plans? Doing anything romantic or special? We are going to the yearly party at my brother in law's. I hope everyone has a safe and happy evening.

Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a fun evening filled with sparkles and kisses. I, for one, was ready to see 2015 fade into the rear view mirror. 2016 is going to be, a stressful, but fun year. As for readers what kind of books are you looking forward to reading this year? I would like to see more pirate romances out there and particularly gay pirates! Yawza...that sounds yummy. What about steampunk? Does anyone like that genre? I hope all of you have a relaxing day filled with good food and smiles.

I agree. I can't wait for Charlotte Stein's new book. This was the first in her new series. Never Loved (Dark Obsession, #1) by Charlotte Stein . The second is Never Sweeter (Dark Obsession, #2) by Charlotte Stein .

How's everyone coming along on their resolutions? I for one think I've gained 5 pounds! Writing is hectic, but going full steam ahead. Are there any resolutions you gave up on or starting new?

Hmmm...no New Years resolutions - but I did find a new crime author I love! That's got to be a great start to the New Year!

McGee Magoo Happy New Year, All! My book resolution is to just read better books this year. I read a lot of "meh" books last year because I was doing a challenge to clean out my freebie hoard, A lot of them were only okay. But this year I'm trying to read through my non-freebie hoard and get those gems that I paid for but put on the back burner read. So far so good.

The first half of the year I'm really looking forward to Jason's story, Angela!!! Dying for it, is more accurate. Also, Penny Reid is writing a curvy-girl romance Grin and Beard It (Winston Brothers, #2) by Penny Reid It's about a bearded park ranger who falls for a popular plus size actress. I love those Winston brothers and this book is going to be soooo good.

I can't tell you how many books I started and stopped. So many made promises that didn't hold up. Very disappointing.
