And so we come to it at last, the final days of the 2015 52 Book Pickup Challenge! To everyone who completed the challenge or met their own personal reading goals, congratulations! To everyone who is still reading, you can do it!

Remember- you have until 11:59 pm on December 31st to log your books!

If you made the 52 book goal, make sure you come into any Chesapeake Public Library branch to pick up your participation prize- a free book!

The grand prize winner will be announced after the start of the new year.

At this moment, there are plans to have a 2016 52 Book Pickup Challenge. So tell your friends and tune in next week for more information on registering, brand new discussions, monthly mini-challenges, and more!

It has been a pleasure getting to know you all and discussing books. I look forward to "seeing" you all next year!

What is everyone reading in these final days of 2015? I'm currently working on It Ended Badly: Thirteen of the Worst Breakups in History, Mirrored, and Animal Maddness.

Happy reading and Happy New Year, everyone!!

Ann (ann-fracturedfiction) | 516 comments I'm still binging on the Monk Books: I've finished A Breach of Promise, The Twisted Root, Slaves of Obsession (Monk and Hester visit America at the start of the Civil War), and am now reading Funeral in Blue (9 more after this). I took a brief break and read a couple of fun books by Dakota Cassidy: Witched at Birth, What Not to Were, and Witch is the New Black.
Hope everyone has a Happy New Year! and lots of great books to read. :)

Julie | 130 comments Thanks everyone, I was one book short last year, so I'm glad I met the goal this year!

However, after just logging 50 of my 52 books on the library site (I tend to just do that on goodreads) next year my goal will be to do it as I read them so it doesn't take so long!!!

Happy New Year everyone!

I'm going to start listening to Manners and Mutiny by Gail Carriger, the 4th in the Finishing School series, which I sort of fell in love with this year.

Chris also picked me up a Black Widow and the Marvel Girls graphic novel so I'll probably start reading that next, along with trying to finish up some books I'm already in the middle of.

Ingrid Hurst (bookrdr) | 285 comments I made it to 32 books this year. Last year I read 52. I started off with a bang last year & plan to do the same this year, but not lose momentum. Ha ha. Happy New Year!
