So this is a discussion... Well I loved/hated the ending! Since I'm a romantic at heart I wanted no one to die but death was what really made the book popular so I'm torn
I'll have to say that I'm not a huge fan of the FioS. I totally HATE the ending, but at the same time I love it! Overall, it was a good book though! :D

I disagree, I think the Fault in Our Stars was better then Looking for Alaska. It wasn't one of my favorites.

191?!?!?! Wow. My teacher at school loves books, and she lets me borrow hers, so that's how I got to read it

Lucky! Now I'm 163. I'll keep you updated!
I never thought I would like a book like this .. But seriously, it blew my mind. Finished it in a day and a half, (just after finishing Allegiant trying to heal my wounds .. mind you, it did not work) and went straight on to Looking for Alaska which was also an epic book. John Green's style of writing is just .. drool.

Agreed. It worked maybe some when I was trying to get my mind off of finishing Harry Potter, by some I mean VERY WELL. I love this book. ;)

I liked the book, but the ending… it was just sad. I normally hate those types of books with sad endings, but for this book, I have conflicted feelings- I love and hate it at the same time!

I second that
I second that
Somebody spoiled it for me. I don't know if they were telling the truth, but I'm going to read it anyway.

I've been going over this in my head a gazillion times, but I think I've come to the conclusion that the ending was as ingenious as the rest of the book. Sure it was sad, but it was like a "oh my word so sweet and unexpected and epic" sort of sad (if that's even a thing.)
I feel the same way. It was a really sad ending but it fit with the rest of the book and completed it.
