Yay! I like pushing out of comfort zones. I have a feeling we will get a lot of that as we go :)
Ok I switched a books. Adrift came up as my turn on audiobook from the library, and I was doing a massive reorganization of my bathroom today, sorting through every little bottle of random hair product and forgotten foiled pills. I needed something to listen to and wasn't very far on my A book I was reading. I don't think I like it as well, but I'm already pretty far in and have to tackle reorganizing the first aid/medicine cabinet and linen closet tomorrow so I'm sticking with audio. :)

I'd recommend reading All The Light We Cannot See! SOOO good! The perspective of children/adolescents during the war is just moving.

Hi, Kay. glad you found the group. You are very welcome to join!

I love that it's making you grab things you have been wanting to read. That's how I felt: I had so many things I wanted to read for so long that I hadn't. This forces me to grab some of those. And maybe I should have gone with All the Light...I have been wanting to read it!

I thought about that too. I want to read 52 books so I average one a week so that would go perfectly to do two each, but I also have a book club that I have to fit in my schedule, so I wasn't so sure I could achieve them all. I'm excited to see the things you read!

I am new to this but acceot this challenge as a fun one,.... My other A book will be A Single Man

Finished Asylum today. I enjoyed it. It's definitely quite different from what I usually read. That being said, it was a nice change. I gave it 4 stars.

Other books I was considering: "The Accident Season" by Moira Fowley-Doyle, "Adrift" by Paul Griffin, "All the Light We Cannot See" by Anthony Doerr, and "All the Rage" by Courtney Summers.
Looking back through my read shelf, the only one I would recommend that isn't in the middle of a series or something is "Anna and the French Kiss" by Stephanie Perkins which is a light read of teen romance.
